This is what i was waiting for! Thanks for this masterpiece because as much of a beast it is, it's also just bad to maintain! Anyways dan here, i loved seeing both SVR's so thanks for putting me in that beast!!! Its not just the money element of maintaning, its the stress going to sort it out and even have the issue in the first place! And that 5.0L V8 is drinking fuel like badlandschugs! I do love that sound and clearly from the spy shots the new 23 SVR sounds horrible. Got an M competition engine. Big let down. Haha i loved how you were saying that 20 quid would be drained when fun driving then continuing to accelerate for a good 30 seconds haha!
I’m glad you found this information useful! Agreed, the pro is that the car provides you with an insane experience however the con is that it will cost you a lot! Whether that be in petrol or maintenance.
A big cost you didnt mention is insurance. I am 33 with 12years no claims living in london. My SVR is £2300 per year. All the other costs you mentioned were spot on.
I think the svr wil go up in price specially the limited carbon edition. The new Range Rover sport SV will not sound the same as the old one. The whole point of buying these fast cars was the speed and sound. No sound no joy. Hold on to it and you get your money back iconic V8 5.0
Deep pockets needed..regardless love this beast..seen many reviews over the years but this is refreshing breaking down maintenance & running cost in depth...someone once said owning this you need to be lotto winner or be at a certain level in life..but this is the Ultimate vehicle
