Micro Swiss has been making 3D printing accessories for 10 years now! So when I saw they released a hotend for the Elegoo Neptune 4 Plus/Max (Neptune 4/4 Pros already available) I had to try it out!
In todays video we test how well this hotend compares to the stock one. We test the claim of a leak proof nozzle, being able to swap nozzle COLD, and how better the flowrate really is.

@@EdsTechTalk94 Same here but quality nozzles is what I really wanted. Really didn't like the choices I have with the N4P and I've changed out the nozzle 3 times this year so cold changing nozzles is appreciated too. I print mostly with ASA and TPU nowadays so the design of this particular product will be a huge upgrade for me and the quality of prints.

Only downside to this is I cannot reuse my CHT nozzle on my N4Pro. So im wondering if I could machine off 25% of the Flowtech nozzle and still be able to use a CHT for even higher flowrate...🤔🤔

Im glad to see some aftermarket parts for the N4 series, but this is way too expensive for the performance increase. The Microswiss hotend and 3 hardened nozzles (0.4,0.6, and 0.8mm)is *$136*. To put that into perspective, the Elegoo hotend and 3 nozzles is *$38*. 500% the cost for 25% more performance. Even more perspective, The Neptune 4 Pro is on sale for $189, so you could just buy a whole second printer and get 200% the flow rate lol Make the nozzles the regular cost of nozzles and I’d buy in a heartbeat.
