My friend, like you, I was opening the chips of the RAMs with a knife for a while, it took me a long time, then I heat as much as I can in the electric heater, take it with pliers, shake it in the cabin and spill the chips. It is easier. If you try it, you will see the difference. Greetings from Turkey 🖐👍
That yeild is low. You'll find you have alot of gold your loosing somewhere. For example I just got a yeild of 8.97 grams gold from 4 pounds of trimmed gold fingers. I understand your units were kg. And know the difference after converting it still is low. Even the chips seem low. 1 biggie is when your burning the chips any that crumble will have gold falling loose through those holes down into the fire. And the gold wires are really just to tiny for a sluice or gold pan. Much better to use a beaker or at least a jar and add water let gold settle pour off 2 thirds of water and continue this till water is clean. Basically a tall round container were your gold stays at bottom and dusty ashes are washed away. You can probably double your gold yield here if you just tweaked a few things. Also I'd recommend getting rid of 90% of the base metals like copper before going to aqua regia. You will get less gold in your waist solutions that way. With your process your waist processing is gonna have a high yield later on down the road.
Looks like the material you discarded as magnetic, wasn't 100% clean and likely had gold in it. If you reprocess all your waste, I'd expect another .3-.7grams yet. If not, that was super low yield material. 🤷♂️ I process 1980s stuff, the yields are incredible!
For ic chips do remove base metals and then directly add aqua regia...and for the boards u can directly apply aqua regia...it will save your time and the result will be same instead of collecting the foils and doing it
nice video. perhaps my suggestion if you add some CON2H4 before do SMB would more gold you would get. Its to neutralize the HNO3 that still strong on solution. Its effected on SMB process..
Easiest way to remove chips is with a heat gun its much quicker when do this in bulk, but male to do it in a well ventilated area because fumes or any smoke from the plastic will get breathed its not that bad its a few and it's a one time thing but if you do it in your home, it will smell faintly like burnt plastic. I'm sure that can't be good for your lungs.
Thanks for the video friend the remaining 17 ram boards with fingers were those ddr too so because I noticed that the sizes were different containing upto 2 ic chips per ram board recovery rate is low did you do XRF analysis of the ic chips incinerated powder and did you check the presence of gold in the black leached sludge by AAS method I think gold was lost there.
I see no logic in the last sentence - 1kg ddr fingers contain 1-1.2g of gold and 1kg ddr chips the same, you must have more then 10kg of sticks to get 1kg chips and 1kg of fingers... something is very wrong here.

Thanks for the effort of making this video the problem is that u dont explain wat u are doin in the video..no one can follow anything u are doin. One one knows the chemicals u are using and all that..
Great work! That's awesome! I love doing that stuff toilet! I have figured out that on average you can recover 20cents of gold from flat screen T.V.'s. This video was amazing! God bless you and Marry Christmas 🎄
6 pounds is approx 2.7kg, with .05g from 65gm fingers in this video the math is: 2700gm / 65 gm = 41.5 times the volume in this video. Yield from 6 pounds trimmed fingers is therefor 41.5 x 0.05 = 2 grams -ish.
But that is not a correct or fair test because if you have double sided and single sided ram sticks there will be a difference in the weight of the trimmed fingers. For example if there are mainly double sided in the kg you will get fewer sticks so less trimmed fingers.
It’s just hobby, lab quality is harder to show. Many factors can affect the result, manufacturers differences between brands are small different manufacturing solutions, surface wear, and so on. The total weight also depends on the cutting thickness of the fingers, as cutting by hand can have a few grams of differential in it. Thank you for writing your comment!
@@qwethengoldrecovery I do agree with you entirely. Nevertheless it was a very interesting and informative video. I did enjoy watching it and have subscribed thank you.
@@sonnurmeral6314 In my opinion, I defined it as follows: (rounded down, so it should definitely be more than that) 8 kg DDR2 -> [0.7kg finger + 1.1kg chip] ---> [~4,1g gold chip] + [~0,9g gold finger] Based on these: There should be a gold yield between 4,5 and 5,5 grams. It’s just an estimate, but I think it will look kind of like that. :)
I've gotten between 5 and 9 grams in 8kg of ram. Alot depends on the quality and age of ram and also alot depends on your process. I'd say in this video he lost minimum of one third of his gold maybe upto half of it.
@@qwethengoldrecovery I thought you were Euro seeing dl in the video, thanks for confirming my suspicion! It's pretty normal for Commonwealth wine (Aussie, NZ etc) to be sold in 750ml (milliliters) bottles, and French and German wine in 75cl (centiliters) bottles... same volume, different labelling. Those backwards hillbillies in the US of A are still sticking to antiquated Fluid Ounces.
Dude, 1" wide chisel against a concrete step! Or, I've see a third world guy do the chisel on a slanted board with a stop in it, like he does it all day.
I guess this is what happens when you create a video on a subject you're not actually qualified to show. There are so many areas pointed out in the chat, that you have got wrong. So if I can offer some advise to you, it would be: Do more research on the processes, because by posting videos like this, you're giving other people the wrong information that could cause them to injure themselves (or others).
It is also necessary to present what we make mistakes in, so that others and I can learn from it, many have convinced me of what should or should have been changed, so in the end we can learn from each other.
There’s quite a bit of time between steps, so I’m not wearing gloves all the way through. I also use a fume hood and gas mask, one of my videos can be seen as I put it back in the storage box at the end of the process. Where I have to make uncertain hand movements I use protective gloves, of course I know what to do if the liquid gets on me. Thank you for your comment.
@@qwethengoldrecovery you have to understand that people /kids even are watching and going to do this. That is why so many other channels have safety disclaimer at the begining that keeps them safe but still best to set a high safety example for the show your putting out.
