Thank you. I am not a very experienced runner. I am mainly a weightlifter but for the last year or so I have tried to include more running in my training. I weigh around 110kg and have been struggling to find shoes that work for me. As an inexperienced runner, these have been very comfortable from the start and i love throwing them on on days when my legs feel tired, but after listening to alot of reviews I almost felt like I shouldn’t be enjoying them as much as I do.
I am a heavy lifter (100 kg). Didnt like gel nimbus 25 -since it was recommended for heavier guys- and sold it. Bought this one. Doing majority of my runs in Superblast. This will be my easy day + walking shoe. Do you think this could be used daily for walking (outside, gym etc.)?
Saucony for years missed having a true max cushioned easy day shoe and I think they finally have it with new triumph and hurricane. I’m not mad as to me ride is the new triumph with the same foam and similar performance. I don’t see what the problem is here.
@@TheFODRunnerThe Ride 17 is better than the Triumph 20-21 for me. The upper is a bit more spacious and comfortable, and more importantly, the Ride 17 feels more stable than the Triumph, especially in the heel.
I weight 72kg and I run around 2500K per year. I own 4 pairs of the 20 and 1 pair of the the RFG version. The main reasons I have so many of them is that you can easily get the older versions at a cheap price and their durability is really good (I usually ran 1000K before retiring them and it could probably last even more if it wasn't for my terrible gait). On top of that these shoes are versatile and I use them up to steady paces (some faster runners in my club even use them during speed sessions). The T22 seems to be like the NB More V4 I own. I only use them for slow runs and I find them too heavy. I think I'll avoid the 22 and that's a shame. Also not sure the Ride is the new Triumph in term of performance and durability...
It’s definitely changed for sure, like you said. I’d honestly say the ride is the “old” triumph in terms of how it moves…. But durability… I can’t comment sadly!
I have the Superblast that I use for my long runs and easy runs but I just ordered triumph 21 as I am looking for something softer feeling on my easy days.
I found this review immature and irresponisble. As a youtube reviewer you have an obligation to be truthful and honest. I also feel you have done too many miles. Should have done 5k and put out a full review #yolo
My only intention is to finally find a successor for the Invincible 2s which were my workhorse for almost anything besides tempo, ran almost 8k in different v1 and 2 pairs of them. Really miss the combination of former ZoomX bounce and max cushion in current models… so T22 seems like the next „no match“ trainer for my purpose… :-/
They have seoerated the line up. Ppl are expecting this shoe to do more then its made for. Its a slow run shoe. The endorphin is the shoe for max cushion speed. Its also not the heaviest in the class. Still lighter than the nimbus
I'm still using the 19, never loved em, too clunky, but they serve me well as a bad weather shoe. proper tanks. think i'll pass the 22 and rather look for a good deal for the 21. then again the 10mm drop is a bit too much for me...
I do have this mentality that a clean shoe lasts longer…..just like I believe a clean car is more fuel efficient 😂 I almost spend more time cleaning than on the actual activity 😂
