I got a steal for mine too. 2010 CVPI had hail damage and the idiot municipal insurance totaled it out under collision, had a minor fender bender in 2012 but the hail damage was what caused them to total it. Soldering failed on the odometer but when I won the car for $370 I found out she had 94,141 miles and 5300 idle hours. Swapped the trunk and hood and the car has been great. Came fully equipped, cage, shotgun/rifle racks, spotlight, blue strobe lightbar, strobes and decals. Removed the decals and lightbar then installed a Havis Tahoe center console. Still working on some upgrades and improvements but love this car.

3:45 Thats the key statement, be ready to spend more $ after purchase than the actual buying price. These are "project" cars but worthy daily runners. Lovin' my '04 since 2010, and just do the maintenance and fix up whats needed as you drive along.

Don't know who put the prongs for the radiator cover outside like that so it sicks out from the hood but please for the love of all that's holy fix that. Otherwise still love the car man lol

I have forgotten exactly how many CVPI's we have driven back to San Antonio from Denver. Approx 1000 miles These were Colorado highway patrol cars. Never, never had one of them leave us sitting along side the road. That's not to say you can not buy a lemon, but we never got one. You got a fantastic price on that car. I just bought one off of Craigslist a couple of weeks ago for $3200. It was an 09. I flipped it for $4600 in less than a week. Great cars.

Sure, I shot the standups with a Cannon EOS M50 Mirrorless Camera and a RodeLink Lavalier Microphone, the B-Roll was shot with a GoPro Hero8 Black. I am happy with the Cannon M50 and the Rode Mic, the GoPro has its purposes but it is not my favorite piece of equipment. Thank you for watching!

Your plastic radiator cover is improperly installed. Those black plastic tabs are supposed to be beneath the header panel, not over it and visible with the hood closed.

As someone who has owned/flipped 13 crown vic's last 10 years and "Scan" all the surplus auctions you LUCKED THE FUCK OUT on your car !! California has MANY cop car dealer "flippers" and prices for auction vics are so INSANE HIGH I ignore California auctions

I agree with you, and I was actively hunting for at least four months to find this one. And quite frankly, I put in higher bids on cars that were probably worse than this one is, and lost out. My problem was I had to be looking at California cars because I live in CA, and I needed that damn CA Emissions sticker.

The only thing it really "needed" was a new battery and I drove it 576 miles the day I picked it up. Honestly I've spent another couple grand on it since then getting it exactly how I want it and doing ALL the servicing to it, because I want it to be a reliable car for me. Not everyone would have had the rear differential oil replaced with Royal Purple or taken it to a dealer for new spark plugs and four-wheel-alignment, but I did.

You know what’s funny, I may sell it soon but I’ll probably auction it off on eBay motors. Haven’t decided 100% yet, my fleet is changing around a lot this year.
