idk about triggering cultural appropriation folks but it would be a bit strange for someone to actually wear a durag outside of its intended purposes (waves/braids/locks). that can come off to many as a cosplay
I’ve noticed that they give you almost a third less food if you order through a delivery site compared to when you walk in. Maybe in the future you can do a video on that?
@@shophocho7798 NEVER order online.....always go to the location.....they never forget stuff nor do they speed make your order....You'll always get more food (lettuce, sauces, beans and rice) because that's mostly free when you tell them that....than you order online and they will give you standard if not smaller portions
So many fast food places offer me free or nearly free food on their apps, but the shrinkflation sizes they give aren't even worth the cost of gas to get them!!!
I wanna say thats a durag but I think it isnt cause u gotta wrap the strings around and tie it in the back.he had no strings but it would be better if he did cause wtf is a buff??
@@mattguy2998 probably the same thing, but people like to claim that they invented things just to gate keep it. Like dread-locks or other stuff For me the most ridiculous was when a part of the black community were yapping that my country (Chile 🇨🇱) should change the name, cuz apparently they invented the word...WTF
I actually haven't noticed it. My last couple of trips were way more than I was expecting. In fact, the last burrito was double wrapped yet was still ripping because it was overstuffed. That said, it might just be the place I go to is generous.
its the place and the workers. I'm assuming they're told by managers to skimp in some places because one place always skimps and it's all spanish women. the other places i go are usually teens working and they tend to give me good portions. I remember one time one of those spanish women eyeing me like she was annoyed i asked for more too. On a side note it's the same with Panda Express. There is one place that always skimps and i know they're doing it on purpose since i confronted the girl at the register about it. she said somethign to the chef in their native language and he comes and gives me a big slab of what i was complaining about in a sloppy way like he was mad. They are so dumb tho because the other Panda is literally about 2 miles away so i never go back to this one that was relatively new because of this. they are pretty dead too despite being in an old 5 guys and a busier shopping center. I don't know if any of these are privately owned which would explain things, or maybe the managers have to meet certain profit margins within a certain amount of inventory, but quite a few chains have these inconsistent practices of trying to short people on quantity.
oh i just remembered a guy at Royal Farms awhile back gave me 6 western fries or something like that when i had ordered a large. i had gotten those tons of times so i knew what was normal and this indian guy tried to tell me they only put 6 pieces in a large which barely covered the bottom. where as every other store stacked the whole box. I never went back to that one either.
Yeah my location is really inconsistent. Sometimes I get a grip of food, other times I get shorted. I've even had them give me the dreaded bullet rice (under cooked) several times.
It's absolutely hit or miss even at the same location when it comes to Chipotle. I order for pickup (which I know is usually a bad move) but sometimes I'll get totally skimped and other times my bowl will be overflowing. Luckily when you get skimped you can just complain to their customer service and they'll almost always give you a coupon for a free bowl or just refund your order. I've gotten too much free food from them to be mad at this point lol
@@saltyseacaptain2257 it’s an option in the app. It’s cheaper. You can pay before you get there. Enough ppl do it that I asked you. Thanks for the tip. I will prob end up using this if the screw me
Zackary Smigel made a video where he ate Chipotle for 30 days at 3 different locations. the locations all gave different amounts of food regularly between burrito bowl and burrito but the major difference was ordering online for pickup have a lot less food than in person. definitely would recommend watching it, really interesting how it all happened and the conclusions reached!
Haha what a time, my man got to point out he don't got on a durag, but it do look like what Marcus Fenix wore in that first Gears of War game🤣 I live in Japan I was in Kyoto this weekend I saw hella non Japanese wearing Kimonos so that is wild to me how the West has gotten like that.
This must be an issue depending on where you’re located because I’m stationed around the east coast and everytime I go they can barely even wrap my burrito or close my bowl lid because of how much they stuff on there :/
Just classic group think victims finding petty things to get upset at. Inflation as whole is somewhat of a problem, chipotle itself just happened to get placed in the crosshairs of social media. Also, is it just me or is $10 for a bowl like that not the market average for a meal nowadays?
One time my friend and i went to Chipotle after the gym while still wearing our gym atire. The lady gave us SOO much, even the cashier asked "was double meat". Literally felt like 2 bowls in one.
My issue with Chipotle (at least at the one in my town) has nothing to do with the quantity of food they give you and everything to do with the wildly inconsistent quality. One time it's amazing, the next they're giving me completely unseasoned rice with steak that's like chewing on a car tire.
The last time i went to Chip they jipped me but the two times before that they were generous. It just depends on who is serving you. Im talking about the protein of course.
Had Chipotle today too. Ordered the chicken bowl and when I asked for extra fajitas and chicken, I got about 4 pieces each. Not worth $10+ when it was half rice yet I'm still able to get 2 meals out of it.
Which is funny because southern Cali have around 1 actual Mexican restraunt every mile. I thought the appeal was the price per portion but went there the first time last week and meh
You have to know how to order. Order extra extra white rice or both rices. And get half of one protein half of another protein and your bowl will always be solid and able to feed 2 people
Do Panda express next! It's especially bad at the location near me with a drive -thru window. You can't see what they're giving you. They short change you to the max!
I think most people don’t know that everything at chipotle is free for extra (except guac, meat and queso) you can ask them for as much as you like. Most people don’t know that and they take advantage of that. I never order on the app, I always go inside.
This is a microcosm of an issue that’s expanding into a macro level issue where this phenomenon of shrink inflation is contributing to us consumers being cheated out of products and services. I hate the times we’re living in.
@@ronjericho7977Exactly, you could save like 80% if people weren't too lazy to cook. People want to be fat and get a good deal. Not gonna happen and shouldn't happen.
It may not be lower necessarily intentionally but it’s def wildly inconsistent. Look up the guy who ate chipotle for 30 days. It varied by a lot each time. They need to make sure it’s the same every time or people will be mad
I feel like "black and yellow" should be playing in the background. In all seriousness, most of the Chipotle restaurants around me have hit the drain hard. They're giving less portions, the rice is undercooked, etc.
Damn Chipotle hasn't even expanded much internationally and now they are lessening portions. Kind a weird move instead of expansion. Now I am less enthused if it comes to my country.
idk where yall be going, i went yesterday and got the biggest bowl ever, like enough to heat up leftovers the next day and didn’t even finish the leftovers
