wow we have one here in new york actually that i went too and my family just adopted the store after eating there one time, my moms puerto rican so she use to come back home with the chicken and i thought she made it lol its def so underrated and some of the best chicken ive had
Jollibee is the hit with that outragious crunch that rattled the windows. Yes alot like churches chicken. Delicious even all the way here. There spaghetti is good too.❤😊
I personally tried both and what I can say is, Jollibee's fried chicken is not my favorite but, one must enhance its flavor with their gravy that comes with their chicken. Pollo Campero though, I would highly recommend to get their the chicken from Central America. Like seriously. Due to the US government trying to be all healthy with consumers, Pollo Campero couldn't use their typical lard or use oils for their chicken. In a nutshell, a lot of us Central Americans can all agree that Pollo Campero in the US does not taste the same as the ones in Central America.
The U S government has NOTHING to do with whether a restaurant uses lard or not. That is Pollo Camperos business decision. Many Mexican restaurants use lard to cook their carnitas for example.
Some of that is because they are not frying at the correct temperature, or they fry too much chicken at once and then not let the temperature to come back up to the correct temperature before frying more chicken.
I don't like pollo campero even though I am grom Guatemala, I dont know if it was because of the locations I went to but I never really liked it. I would much prefer Jollibee.
