I got 6800 for the car. 3k in the motor 2.5k in turbo 5558 g2 Turbosmart waste with e boost2 controller 5 k in trans 1400 in fueling And probably 500 in misc fittings couplers And 600 in a brand new 2.9 bws that I'll sell soon
Best Neon ever made, Gotta pay $$ to play, 700hp neon.. going to smoke some Super cars. 30k is reasonable, racing is a Rich Man's/Woman's sport. Bang per buck here, only worth it if you're racing. I bought my SRT brand new start saving money To build Motor and when I got enough money up to get started it was enough to buy a house the house is a better investment
If your happy with a humble respectable 400hp u can rebuild these cars relatively cost efficient. He went hella power! That takes money. But a beautiful build!
Why did you build the transmission the way that you did. Why not go complete liberty gearset. Is the kw shaft better or did you do it for lower gearing. I’m very curious I’m about to build my transmission
I was planning on just doing 1-2 and input.. once trans was pulled I seen I hurt 3-4 again and decided to get a full set. Liberty was back ordered at the input at the time for inputs as well or I probably would of went full liberty. They are both same gearing I believe (longer 1st gear)
Hey man, id build a bracket to go from the head where the OE coolant hard lines bolt on the driver front corner of the head, to the FPR ive seen fittings at the rail break due to engine vibrations and FPR weight, causing a HUGE fuel leak would hate to see it burn down for that
@@boostorbust7604 yeah man np I almost watched a car go for that He tried to bring it on the 2 step in the burnout box, and thankfully it didn't, cause the fitting broke on the rail, started dumping fuel, and the flame from the gate dump, would prolly have lit it up, if it would have came onto the 2step
i have my first gen full srt4 swapped, getting my tig welder next month to start building the sidewinder and custom intake, water to air intercooler, and trade off some work to get a dcr stage 3 trans. after all that, dcr 2.6.
i got a 05 srt 4 its pt gt swapped w a 03 trans THE WORSTTTTTT i have 4th pop out out of all things major any help on how i can regain w out big money and dogboxes
Easy and cheap route would be to just buy a used gear set/transmission and swap them out! Could also be a bad shift fork.. you can pull the whole gearset out of the car without pulling the transmission off the car.
Hey, I got an SRT-4 too and im going to be welding my exhaust system out of stainless. I’m just wondering though, what size is the runners that you run.
What are the differences between the 2.4 in the neon srt4 and the 2.4 in the caliber srt4. Are the internals out of the factory similar or completely different setup. Just curious.
