I have a 2013 GMC LML with 37s by 13.5in wide on a BDS 6.5in lift and barely notice the rubbing of tire, i can do a U-Turn with ease but I've been wanting to try the 38s soon
@@GRAPPAHOLICS yeah I'm running stocks with 35s and 2 inch spacers fully cranked torsion bars 🤦♂️ fixing to order 7.5 inch rough country lift and 24x14s Arkon wheels not sure which style I'm gonna go with definitely chrome tho.
I need to know more on the silver Denali please. I was thinking about doing a 4.5” bds lift with stocks and 37s but now I want to do a 4” cognito lift after seeing this. What did he have to trim? What lift/leveling kit?
This is one of the few videos that isn’t about my personal truck. My friend that owns the black truck works with his family’s business and has some side hustles
If you get quality spacers that are installed correctly you shouldn’t have any issues. I ran spacers on my f250 for a couple of years before I sold it and it still has them on it from what I’ve seen
@@jaimedominguez9460 I had shifted industries spacers and they were great. A simple but important safety thing to mention with spacers is making sure that the spacer is wide enough to completely cover the factory studs. Of the tips of the studs barely stick out past the spacers then you are riding on finger tips basically and that’s a good way to loose a wheel. Also I prefer one piece spacers, some people trust the ones you have to bolt together before installing but I wouldn’t recommend them.
@@jaimedominguez9460 also I have a video of my spacers being installed and the studs had to be trimmed to avoid what I mentioned above. Here is a link to that video and the spacer part is around minute 7:30 in the video. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--R4chWpHlgE.html
Yeah those don't fit. I running a Sierra myself and I know for a fact anything bigger than 35's (actually 33's) will rub unless you put a 12 or 14 inch lift on it. It doesn't do you any good to have a tire so big that in order to turn the truck you have to baby it, the first curb you hit rolling off the highway into a fuel station and that tire is into the wheel well. Still a sharp looking truck but no good off road...pavement princess. I suppose a truck that expensive with all those add on's won't see anything but pavement anyways but still....
