You’ve been providing some great information, we appreciate it! Advice for south central Michigan would be awesome. 3 hours to Chicago, 2 hours to Detroit, 1 hour to Fort Wayne (IN) or Lansing. 20 minutes to 80/90 toll road
@@ravishoul1432 I’ve been operating since June 3rd. The initial challenges were many but after 3 months, things eased up a bit. Currently, I’m doing Amazon relay. It’s great especially here in Midwest.
I have been pulling for Amazon Relay for more than two years now and I will tell you this: Amazon Relay is not as it used to be anymore. Now It is very hard to book a load at a decent rate per mile. When you finally get one, they most of the times cancel it. They used to pay for the full price of round trips, even if some legs were cancel, but not anymore. Now they are forcing us to waste our time without getting paid for those cancelations between legs. I don't think that's fair. Those short-term contracts paid very cheap and you never know where you will be going or how many miles you are going to driving. It is like booking with you eyes closed. I don't suggest anyone pulling loads for Amazon Relay only because they don't care about Carriers working for them. They don't care about anybody have to say either. The good news is Amazon Relay is not the only option for power only we have...And I will probably be canceling my own personal account with them and start buying from somewhere else in case they keep messing with me.
Solid info. Im located in socal and thought id give the short term contracts a try. Theyre trying to pay 300 bucks for 340 mile trip! Rejected it as soon as I saw it!
Just a question, could you work with this in a work van and not a semi truck? Also for working for 10 hours is it a guaranteed $1000 a day? And is that US or Canadian?
Hey fam I really do appreciate what you are doing out here on these RU-vid streets educating upon coming box truck drivers / semi truck drivers appreciate you fam ,,,so DSM 9 IS NUMBER 2 with pay which location is NUMBER 1 with pay ? Again thanks fam
Ay! This was super useful. Currently getting into the Trucking business. Have a question though are those rates also including the gas pay or is that 1k aside from the gas pay out?
Hi, I’m a box truck owner operator running my truck with Amazon under someone else authority ,working 6 days a week but one day Amazon have no load for me is that mean i should get $175? Plz answer me back if you could
Thanks for the video. With Amazon contracts, if they say, "$6,000 for a full week contract + Fuel Surcharge and Accessorials" does that mean the fuel surcharge is already included in that $6,000 or is the fuel surcharge additional pay to the $6,000? Thanks!
Very informative video. I'm a new driver and only been driving 2 months. I pull 99% Amazon loads for my boss and was curious what goes on behind the scenes bc I make pretty good money. Was wondering how much my boss actually makes lol.
@@rigobertoespinoza1685 With his dispatch and Co driver break down it was basically a 62-38 split. A good week would be over 2k a bad week under 2k. But I just got hired at my local sysco this week.
@@rigobertoespinoza1685 it is. Especially for a new driver like me. But I didn't like the otr life and he ran his company a little different being he was a small fleet owner. My ultimate goal was to get otr experience to get a local job. And where I'm at doesn't pay as much but will have home time and benefits. So there pro's and cons.
Hello my friend I love your videos. I own a new GMC Savana cargo Van. Can you please tell me what companies I can get loads from. Also I am going to start renting box trucks with lift gate. Can you please tell me what’s the best company to rent from and how to get loot with a box truck? Thank you very much 🙏. God Bless in Jesus Holy Name I Pray 🙏.
Do you have to submit an invoice number to your factoring company for payment with Amazon or if you're set up for one day payments will it be direct deposited into your account?
@@truckingempire563 u don’t have to use factoring companies correct? I feel like when paying dispatch, factoring, insurance, payment, really cuts into ur $
Can you dispatch in Fresno , California ? I want to stay local theres is a amazon facility in Fresno but cant get a contract because I only have one truck
If I said I delivered 400 miles, roughly how much fuel cost would I get from Amazon. ? And that price is not included in the deposit amount you showed, right?
This is exactly what i did in a contract yesterday 423 miles i use 50 gallons almost 14 hours on road they pay me 571 dlls what a ripoff around 23 dlls in hour in my own semi truck will never book loads again yes cancel all other ones i know i will get nail in the score
@@eduardoleonb1 Wait, let me see if I understand you well: You drove 423 miles, used 50 Gallons of Diesel and Amazon paid you $571 total (contract and fuel surcharge included?)
I’m thinking about doing this but I’m not sure I can afford the insurance you need like 2 million in coverage plus workers comp insurance which is dumb I’m Working for me if I do this. 2 trucks? That’s retarded in this joe Biden economy who has 2 trucks?
