It is funny how quick we are to question where someone would get $500 to put into something as useful as an IUL yet, we shell out $$$ without thinking to attend concerts, football games etc🤷🏾‍♀️

Drinking. Eating out often, some people smoke, expensive hobbies. Some people gamble, buying items and clothes they don't really need or worried about expensive brand names etc etc. You are so right.

Hi Mr. Dough. I just saw your video but you did not disclose that how much could be a minimum initial Face value according to IRS guidelines. In most of your videos you say that buy the small amount face value policy and put big amount as a premium because it will cost less in I surance and goes the big chuy of money into S&P 500 and helps to accumulate faster cash value. According to the IRS Guideline a person can't pay excessively high premium because the policy may go MEC. This is making me to understand. Could you please make it clear. Thanks.

As little as $500/month 😂 Doug. As a business to business financial advisor and benefits counselor. Most blue collar employees can’t afford to put away enough in an IUL to retire from it. Even with a maximum funded IUL and a blend with a term coverage in it.

? Uh, most people put more than $500 a month into their retirement accounts. I’m a non-college educated blue collar worker with a $125K salary and I own two houses. I know plenty more like myself, it’s not that uncommon.

Most people can’t even afford to own one property especially in the state of California. 58% of Americans have less than $5000 in savings. So just because you’re doing well and can be putting more than $500 a month into your retirement account does not mean everyone else can. As I said I’m a financial strategist and benefits counselor, I have worked with thousands of blue-collar employees in the state of California, Arizona, Nevada and Texas. $500 per month is not something people do

Good informational video about IULs. But one thing is missing. When you mentioned about annual average return of 6% to 10% , are you saying it will be the same percentage even firrst 10 years? Usually there will be front loaded fees ,expenses etc in first ten years of policy. So one cannot make 6% during that time. I dont see any agent talking regarding this with the client when the talk about IUL

Yes a person can own more than one IUL if they choose to. Some people own 2 or 3 of them.

Doug has previously mentioned having a portfolio of IULS. So, yes, a person can have many. Not to exaggerate but I have heard of people having more than a hundred IULs and using them to acquire businesses, to provide financing for automobiles, etc. Seems like an impressive tool.

@@genolucero5385 yes because instead of going to borrow money from the bank and owe them you can borrow money from yourself and use these IUL’s as a personal private bank. Only difference is your borrowing your own money so as long as your earning consistent interest you don’t have to pay back your own money. Banks use these products all the time to store money. We always ask would you rather put your money with the bank or where the bank puts their money?

You seem pretty smart, but I'm confused about your book giveaway. You want to save people money, and say we only need to pay a nominal charge (for shipping) and you'll cover the rest. But your asking people to pay $9.99, which is over twice (2X) as much as it would cost to ship that book at best. If you really wanted to get the book out to as many people as possible, you should have a digital copy made and you could email it to everyone interested for free! Hope this helps. Cheers.

Doug, do you recommend stopping the multiplier for awhile due to the current state of the market and then start it up later. I only ask because the fees for the multipliers would be the only way I lose money in this market.

Thats up to you. We just hit a bear market, which typically means we should have a recovery over the next few years. So be sure you're at least in a no cap strategy. (Obviously we don't have a crystal ball so who knows whats coming, but again, with IUL you don't lose due to market volatility even if the market goes down.)

Doug, what is your thoughts on the mini premium financing type of IUL where your premium is leveraged 3 to 1? The bank financing is pooled with other policy holders at a LIBOR rate known as a traunch. These traunches fund the policy with the owners premium years 1-5 and without owners premium years 6-10 creating more cash value. The loan is paid back by year 15. With leverage you get 3x more cv in your policy to create more tax free income. This is becoming more popular.

Trick question? Depends how you wanna use an IUL. Just for traditional life insurance protection, it can even be less than $500monthly. Using an IUL as a secure tax free wealth accumulation vehicle also $500+monthly could possibly work…
