Good information, it's nice how examples and general specifics are said. Many people don't like to understand certain parts of a portfolio, but Doug likes IUL, and explains why, and how it can be useful. That is important, showing how it can help, and how it functions. A simple thought for everyone, if you had enough money to take to a fee for service advisor, how much do you think someone with Dougs experience of almost 50 years would be charging ? Keep in mind that when you hear of failed policies from a friend or such, the author of this channel didn't put that policy together.
I am a broker here in the state of Texas. And regardless how much I know, I always learn more from you. Thank you so much for taking time out of your valuable time to help us.
Doug, thank you so much for sharing this info! I heard about whole life insutance policies being *the* avenue for the rich to gain tax free income years ago, but only after finding your videos have I come to learn the actual details. So many are offering this information as a paid infomercial essentially, meaning to even learn how to handle money, I would have been forced to pay money - not going in the right direction. :p Your videos, however, are so helpful and detailed - and free! :D I've always been of the entreprenurial mindset but a coma in 2010 slowed me down. Now I'm on the way back in the game, and OBVIOUSLY this information is priceless. I will be following all of your advice, and look for more ways to support you and your endevours. Thank you again, Doug - you are saving lives, I mean that literally. Both Buffet and Kiyosaki say that we're about to enter a time worse than the Great Depression and that it will last for much longer. Your advice will allow those that listen to begin to structure themselves for ~true~ financial security, and that will keep us from being homeless.
The problem with life insurance is the way it compensates advisors, and is why you dont hear about it. Imagine a hypothetical policy with $2,000,000 cash value, been in force for 20 years. That initial agent got paid 20 years ago. Another advisor might have put you in the usual broker account making 20k a year off a similar account.
I appreciate the info and honesty - 99% of IULs are not structured properly, which means they are not benefiting the owner. Or, at the very least, not benefiting them as they could/should be. It is frustrating to see so many people talking up these IUL products without discussing how carefully they must be structured.
You seem so confident that you are a bit angry when the process is misunderstood or not executed properly. I love it.... I am just now learning about this product. I didn't even know it existed until I was approached by a company to offer it... Thanks..
I bought an iul when I was 25 and I’m 33 now..have been funding it minimally ..so I’m glad I have the right tools just need to fund it correctly !! Thanks for the info !!
Greetings Doug. I've been looking at your videos for months. I opened an insurance policy of my own and I was trying to talk to a friend about doing the same. I wanted to show him the story you told of 2 millionaires who handle their wealth with their children in different ways. If you can point out that talk to me I would appreciate it...Thanks for the info you give.
The Vanderbilts vs the Rothschilds is the comparison in my book Entitlement Abolition. If you don't have a copy, you can pick one up here: www.entitlementabilitionbook.com
I went to his 3 day Seminar. Very informative. I enjoyed listening to his analogies. He emphasizes that once a year his family gets together to share their experiences and knowledge. On what work or did not work..
This information is very useful, and as an insurance advisor, we are doing this plan for our clients and hearing and learning from you is a plus. Thanks so much for this video. God bless you Sir Dough
What do you mean you diversify and put some on yourself your wife and your kids? You just don’t have 1 insurance policy on your family? Or you mean you just cover each person. Please can you help me I’m trying to understand more clear so that I can get insurance for my family. So do I get multiple policies or just one policy for my family?
For IUL it will have to be multiple policies for the family per member. If you need assistance on more education of the subject please feel feel to reach out !
What companies do you recommend for starting an IUL or laser fund? Just starting out on all this, and I need some great advice. Your videos are great!!
Thanks for the info, good stuff. At the same time this feels a little like navigating a mine field. Seems my luck on the roulette table is about as good as picking a good agent.
Thanks this info is great! I'm new to this all and still learning how to properly structure infinite banks, iuls and indexed annuities, the imo I am working with seems to not wanna teach me so thay I remain dependent on them. Anyone got any advice?
Hey there, an IUL Professional we work with can explain the process. You can setup a time to speak directly to an IUL Professional we work with here: www.3dimensionalwealth.com/getstarted
So 99% of the company’s DON’T know what they’re doing??? 1% (which is you) is designed correctly…Suspect…If you can reply with a reputable source , I might be convinced.
I don't think anyone cares if you're convinced. I'm more shocked you can take a look around at the state of affairs the world is in today and think 99% were right. An investment strategist of 40 years isn't a reputable source?

Hi Doug - How is the IUL different from RothIRA? Both tax free right? Should I move the money in RothIRA to IUL - I am 7 years from retirement - 58 years old now? Thank you for all of your advices!
Hey! If you would like to explore the LASER Fund options, go ahead and schedule a time to speak to an IUL Specialist that we work with here: www.3dimensionalwealth.com/getstarted
Canada does have very similar products. If you’re still curious, I have a couple friends in Canada that really know their stuff and can service any Province.
It’s possible for a company to change an IUL rules at nearly any time. He’s telling you to make sure the company is good so that you don’t end up getting screwed. So how do you pick a company that will be good in 30 years? 🤔
How can someone know if something is structured properly without trusting an agent who is making commission? Where is the baselines rules that I can measure against?
The fact that you made an episode of what could go wrong and you didn’t cover anything that could actually go wrong tells me this is probably a lot of words to cover the fact that you’re taking money from people.
That's great! If you want to explore more on our training for financial professionals you can join us for an upcoming webinar here: www.iulinsiderpro.com
Hi, I noticed you had some interest in learning how an Indexed Universal Life Strategy can benefit you and help with your goals. As a licensed financial professional, I’d love to get you educated on understanding the different strategies & products out there and how they can be of value to you. What would be a good phone number to reach you so that I can introduce myself and provide some general information about these plans??
@@SergioHernandez-oc8ge Hi there! I work in Canadá in the Québec province. Do you live here ? If so I can definitely look into your personal situation and figure out which company will suit you best +
I learn a lot from you. Having said that, where you lost me is your reference to Miss America and your referring to funding your investments you refer to choose an advisor that is looking out for”himself and his wife than you and your wife.” My feedback for you is that you choose more inclusive and less male oriented. I suspect that this will generate more subscribers and clients as women are growing investors
What do you think about volatility controlled proprietory indexes which IUl companies offer vs S&P 500 Index? If 2 IUL companies have a similar Comdex ranking and features, should we choose the company with better Index options or Higher caps on Indexes and fixed rate? I have a pacific life IUL with 8% cap on S&P and Allianz policy with 10.25% cap on S&P..does higher cap with similar policy expense mean one is better than the other?
In your case, higher cap is better. If the COI (cost of insurance) is similar, you’re gonna want a company that has the higher cap. Example: Transamerica has one that’s @ 15% cap, and a 0.15% floor.
Usually what I've noticed is when people say this they've never done it themselves and they've been programmed wrong so therefore they think it's a scam but it's not because actually technically nobody even has the real dates of how long this has been going on from what I have gathered since 1847 Rockefellers rothschilds have been doing this and yes they put it on every one of their children that are born and grandchildren and great grandchildren and great great grandchildren how do you think the United States got built up
