This is how i justify buying higher end clothing and shoes 😂 because to me they last me years before they start to fall apart. To me its quality over quantity 😁. And when it comes to makeup its the same, they last me a long time plus they look better on skin.

That's what I think too. I pay my bills(well they are all on autopay), I put $100 in savings every week except for in December cuz Christmas shopping, and there's tons of other much more harmful things I could spend my money on. Some people collect stamps, some people collect wines, some people put a lot of money into their cars, some people splurge on gourmet meals, etcetera. Everyone should have something they just do for themselves.

The others did everyday but the black chick wanted to be dramatic and put foundations and foundations in her bag that were expensive high end, I own 7 high end foundations why would I put them all in my makeup bag 😹it's called fake and probably race motivated to say she has to pay more, I'm not saying there's enough foundation shades in every brand for darker brands I know there isn't but I think she missed the point and just wanted to win a stupid challenge of spending more money. ✌🏼️

Exactly. What I use daily is just about $70 worth of drugstore products but I do have quite a big collection of makeup so my whole collection is probably at least 5 times that. But I assume this is their daily makeup since there was not a lot of different eyeshadow etc options in any of the bags.

If it makes you feel any better, I have very very pale skin, and all shades either look too dark, or are translucent and literally do nothing.

Sometimes you even have to buy 2 foundations and mix them together to get the right shade. The struggle is too real.

I recently transitioned to all natural make up to reduce the amount of toxic chemicals I put on my body and THREW OUT all my old stuff and I was a VIBROUGE member!! I went to only Sephora or Ulta (and even with Ulta it was high end)I calculated everything and literally cried. Only the stuff I threw out...$1,927.00 I kept some of the products mainly out of I CANT BELIEVE I THREW HALF MY STASH OUT and had to rectify my choice to make this switch. To make the switch to natural products I swapped all my skin care products and I won't even tell you how much that was to toss. But replacing the cleanser, toner, and facial oil was $176 not including $49 for the foundation! Granted it has been totally worth it...but this whole thing is insane 😳😳😳

+Mady See I have products like that aswell, however most make-up has an expiration date. (ever seen the the little box with the number 6 or 12 in it, thats how many months you can use if for). It's not like deadly if you use it after its expiration date, however it could cause break outs and harm your skin. Always safest to check it out ;)

You do you. The reason I wear makeup isn't because I'm insecure about how I look, I wear it because I love the art of it. It makes me happy. I get to spend a little time on myself. Not because I think it makes me look prettier or neater. Plus, there are plenty of days that makeup wearers don't wear makeup and we feel just fine either way. Bottom line, everybody should do what makes them comfortable without looking down on people who do things differently.
