How Much Money Does My 50k Subscriber YouTube Channel Make? + Analytics 

Hello Everyone and hope you're all having a great start to 2020!! This was a fun video to put together, and really opened my eyes to the nitty gritty of my RU-vid numbers. Thanks again for being part of my channel, my adventures, and inspiring me to keep at it! Onward!

I subscribed just over a year ago. Since that time I’ve started riding to work, convinced my wife to do a week long bike tour in Northern Italy, and lost 15 lbs. While a single subscriber watching all your videos doesn’t count for much in your totals, know that you’ve made a big difference in my life. Looking forward to the next adventure!

Only Ryan could put a video out about RU-vid statistics, and have it be totally captivating. Classic Duzer hahaha. Love all the content this channel produces. Keep it coming Ryan, we appreciate you.

Ryan, thank you for your transparency and openness! A couple of the many reasons that I was drawn to your channel is your positivity and authenticity, and this video is a prime example of it. I think that there are a lot of misconceptions out there about how much work truly goes into this stuff. I mean, all I know is that there is a LOT that I don’t know about your creator world. As a photographer/artist, I really appreciate the work that you put into the cinematography, not to mention you’re freakin biking insane landscapes while doing it. Anyway, thanks for making great content and being REAL. If you ever come to New Mexico and need company, I can’t guarantee I’m in good enough shape to keep up for long, but I CAN guarantee the best dang breakfast burrito you will ever eat. Peace!

Great info, Ryan. I often wondered , how much folks really made from their videos. I'm an avid cyclist, in your 64+ group . I'll have to start checking out some of your other videos, but I just can't get into running. My favorite, was the mountain bike trip, from cabin to cabin. Keep'm coming. KB. Added: Don't despair about women. I was 42, when I got married. Still had time to have kids at 49 (Set of boy/girl twins). Honestly knowing how you live your life and what you spend money on, I don't even know what you would do with $20 million a year. Probably donate a whole lot of it, funding peace corps type projects, maybe buying bikes for a bunch of deserving people and traveling even more.

Been a subscriber for about 7-8 months now and I like the positive outlook in the videos and the fun. Sometimes people forget the outdoors are meant to be about fun and not just about PR"s. Anyways thanks for the visibility into the analytics, that was pretty neat.

It makes me sad that biking seems so male dominated. It is so much fun!!! I would love to see a series on how you plan a trip. From research to packing. And of course the trip.

you think 20% female viewership is low? I got 5.4% Female viewership! yes mtb is a very male dominated sport! A lot of other mountain bike centered channels have a similar female percentage to me, maybe up to 10% for some other ones!

That is very interesting and informative. I am one of those new subscribers this year but want you to know that I am watching every new video you make. Your positive attitude is contagious. Even though my main interest is in mountain biking right now I still find a lot of joy in watching running and road biking videos. Running and road cycling were a passion for years until injuries caused me to give them up. But I still feel pretty good about getting on my mountain bike and being able to ride at age 70 even if I don’t get too aggressive on the trails. Old people break easier. Good luck with the channel and thanks for the inspiration!

I've only recently come upon your channel, and am nearly binge watching your stuff now. I have always wondered about what kind of stats are available but have never seen someone go through it like this, even if it is only a part of the analytics available, pretty fascinating. Life long bike enthusiast even if there was a long period of time where I, regretfully, didn't ride as much. You have my thanks for motivating me to get back in the saddle, even if I don't live somewhere as beautiful and glorious as CO. These stats have to be phenomenal now, nearly two years later......great job, love the content and videography. All the best to you, seems like the sky should be the limit!
