Yes, I'm worried about the money, only because I need to feed my family and prosper. But, I also just want to be successful. I have a lot of people in my corner and I feel like I owe it to them and like I said before, mostly my family. I just want to use my "talent" to contribute to our society bro. We're needed to keep this colony running smoothly, whether people know it or not. Keep doing your thing! You're a big inspiration for me. Straight up.💯💪🏾
Electrician apprentice here. Been enjoying the honest takes from your perspective of building yourself from the ground up and being a success. There's a huge audience out here that would watch your take on stories about handling difficult jobs, pricing, dealing with employees, and all the other stuff im sure you deal with on the daily. i think ten/fifteen min videos are perfect. But as long as it takes to get your point across is good.
I’ve been watching you for a while and I’ve been wanting to get into construction plumbing but not sure where to start since all these other guys on YT make it look all sunshine and rainbows. I’m currently 17 and it’s something I’m looking forward too hopefully you can make a video for that and I appreciate those long videos but basically was wondering if you can create some step by step/pathway for those looking to get into construction plumbing. You motivate me man real shit Congrats man!
Congrats big Brass boss, your success is very well deserved and it shows. All the knowledge your sharing is super valuable and much appreciated as always. As far as the audio, it sounds better but it did sound a little muffled. I haven't ever used one of those so idk if just changing the placement would help with that but it is a step up either way.
what are people losing by talking about how much money they make? I want to ask my boss about hes pricing and things like that but I just started there and its a new company (only started hiring employees few months ago and there is 3 of use plus boss man).
@@brasshouse-og I agree with you there could use some tweaking but it’s way better than it was with the echo. Either way I’m listening to what you have to say regardless 😅
@@PlumbingBanana I’m going to get one of my buddies to come by and help me get this shit set up right. It probably won’t be that hard once I actually try a bit.
@@brasshouse-ognot sure if it’s the actual mic that isn’t of high enough quality, but I use a brand called comica and they’re of incredible quality for fair price.
I’m so worried about not making enough money with going on my own but I have a eBay business on the side and getting my rpz testing license to try to keep it up because there is one rpz tester in orange lol.
Man has time flown by! Always good to have a reserve funds available for growth and expected problems that might come up! Also good you don't have rich habits! Lol! Much success as always my man! Scrap on!
Your insurance company is going to hit you with a massive increase and back charges when they find out you did $2m in your first year. Speaking from experience here.
Im coming at ya boiiiii full shaft 😂 How much of 2 million is commercial how much is residential and any industrial? Also 200k for 1st year owner distrabutions is solid af boiiiii Last quistion how many hrs/ guys/trucks did that take to get to 2 milly? Im a 1 man service shop going on year 8 and I do 98% residential 2% commercial at about 400-500k a year I put most money I can back into the company and run about 45-60% profit margins. I would love a video on how you grew and got your guys you have now. That seems to be the hardest part for me at this point is getting more vans and finding honest good techs being such a tiny service company.
@@ponchosancho7710 I do almost all commercial. I do service work for several large commercial properties where I have master services agreements. It’s basically like $398 minimum call. I have six trucks on the road. Most of my work is in large remodels for the medical industry, universities, public work for the state and municipalities. I have three customers that I do medical tenant finish out for. Basically all the professional buildings around the hospitals with like foot doctors or dermatologist and shit like that those offices change hands like every 10 years and I do a shit load of the new build outs. I did a lot of big commercial work before I started my company and so a lot of the people that knew me in the industry were happy to come give me business when I started my company up. I have 12 employees now and pretty much just buy their loyalty. I’ll give guys about five dollars an hour more than union scale in my area, sometimes more. I give them bonuses for efficiency. If I plan on a job taking five days and they get it done in three I usually hook the lead journeyman up with like an extra thousand bucks or something. whenever I hire new guys, I’ll let them create their wish list for tools. Basically whatever they want and I’ll go buy it. With all that shit my dudes will run through a wall for me. I definitely like doing more large scale projects than small scale service. I pretty much use the small scale service to look for opportunities to do larger projects.
@brasshouse9822 legit I super appreciate the response boii I just subscribed so I can watch this journey flourish into what you planned for all along. About to comment on that residential plumbing video too =)
@@ButtmanAtHeart honestly it’s a little tougher to build up a career without the strong back. It can totally be done. It’ll just take a little more time and you’ll have to think differently from the beginning. You have to really try to point your career towards the admin/managerial side. Butt man at heart is an awesome name.
You can hold money in multiple banks and have more money insured. Also at this level you should start thinking about other money products like money markets and bond etfs etc so your money retains its value or even earns money.
