How Much Of a Buff Does The Bombushka TRULY NEED in GTA Online? 

Realistically just strap a portable Orbital cannon and give it Adamantium plating and it should be in line with the rest of the vehicles

It needs basically Moc armor to be viable as a bomber

A bonus buff for all 3 of the massive bomber planes, give them those guided bombs from trevor’s cuban in the air trafficking missions from story mode

it's crazy how much design clearly went into making the plane but then it was programmed so badly. i really like the bombushka, it totally deserves all the upgrades. not being able to use the cargo bay is such a crime dude it makes my heart sad

Can confirm the Volatols guns are also bugged.

Also, they still need to remap the countermeasures button on the Tula and Avenger, so the pilot can operate them now that the VTOL button was remapped to L3.

I bet that they're only buffing its armor and calling it a day.

If Rockstar doesn’t fix the turrets, then there’s no hope. I’ll sell my Bombushka and that’ll be the greatest relief off my shoulders, knowing I don’t need to worry about it anymore. There’s no point in owning the Bombushka if it can’t properly perform what it was originally intended to do. For context I’ve been holding onto my Bombushka for a handful of years now, hoping it would get fixed in a future update. Right now it’s a nice museum piece but that’s it.

It really needs a lot of armor and attention for how slow it is I love the vehicle because how you can put vehicles in it but I think how bad they shoved it into the ground says alot

given how broken gta online is, it better be as powerful and as broken as the bo4 gunship

What Rockstar will actually do: give it zhaba armor and +20% speed and still not fix the invisible wall blocking the back

It should be like the Gunship killstreak from CoD.

They also need to make it where the parts of the plane don’t break up as easy to where 1 hit can disable the plane just like how the b-11 strikeforce can break off after 1 hit but has more armor than the other jets

So many cool planes and helicopters and they’re rendered basically useless in any pvp situation cause everything is better

I hate how the flares countermeasures shoots 4 flares but only works on one missile. If all 4 flares could each take their own missile then it could have better chances against missiles despite its slow speed

This game has so many underwhelming vehicles than it take a lifetime to balance them all... not that they want to.

The Volotol needs a buff too. The vehicle doesn't even notify you're getting locked on.

Now acid lab or moc armor be sick on it but we all know they might mess it up..

A avenger camera upgrade would be nice too on this plane and on the volatol. Being able to switch cameras without changing seats. Volatol should get explosive turrets too, wouldn’t be broken since it’s a pretty easy to shoot down target also😅

Lets be honest, I don't think rockstar would really "buff" it, probably give it like idk, just few more explosive resistance probably and thats it

something tells me its gonna be used in one of the last few big updates... maybe a new heist or missiontree

While they're at it with buffing the Bombushka, they could also work on being able to put cars in the back without having it stock. May even get Astro Soup back lol

Rocstar needs to fix the turrent control when you use the Volatol.

We all know Rockstar will do a shit job and make the turrets even worse than ever when they "buff" the armor.

Right now the turrets are pretty much stuck in place. The camera moves but the turret itself doesn't.

They ain't gonna do shit that's worthwhile with the bombushka but I wanna believe they really listen

I would love to be able to use the turrets as the pilot, hell even using just the bottom turret would ideal. I can imagine some AC-130 style ambushes in PVE/PVP scenarios

It should at least take up to 25 missiles or more. Flares added to it.

The volatol also needs a buff, As a fan of the real life Avro Valcan I hate seeing how they dirty they did it.

Realistically they're just going to change the in-game parameters to buff the armour. That's all we'll get. However, I agree on the turret effective radius - if they fixed this and buffed the armour I'd be over the moon!! You'd be able to actually engage with some decent PvP with this thing then. Slow enough to counter, yet dangerous enough if you have the right gunners with you - the perfect balance. I always felt like the bombushka should be getting way more attention that it does. Hell, I'd even go as far as to say that this thing should get the same level of reaction as to when a player whips out a tank on the ground. 🤣 I'm just so bored with Mk2 and Deluxos.

I'm hoping GTA 6 will at the very least have good vehicle balance

A little asterix about the invisble wall: it appears with literally ANY upgrade, even engine, which can't be reverted to stock. soyeah, extra emphasis on it needing to be BONE STOCK for it to be used as a transporter. learned this one the hard way.

Also considering how slow it is and how long it takes to go and refill it should carry waaaay more bombs, like 250 at least.

Honestly I think this needs to be the most armoured air vehicle in the game. Even stronger than the Avenger, To balance out how incredibly slow it is. That way it would be an actual flying fortress

They better remove the invisible wall from the cargo bay of this plane. I don’t even own one because of this wall. If I did, I shouldn’t have to remove everything from this, as of 6/10/24, useless plane. Armor needs a buff, and each engine needs to be taken damage individually, not two at a time.

I remember when the turrets worked we could use it like a bootleg ac130! Beach sniper matches were ruined by us.

Being able to be shot out the cockpit isn't really an issue. You'd have to be up against a top tier marksman to be able to land a shot on you in the cockpit

I hope more vehicles are getting buffed too in the update.

Turrets are most definitely a bug. The turrets no longer rotate if you watch another player use them. I believe you can also see it within the camera. The turret doesn't folloe your aim.

Even with the buff we have avanger. It's better even with buff

Really I agree with your point on the Volatol also having the same issue regarding the turrets; whenever me and a friend would do Act 3's air defense setup I always get chosen to man the turrets and that detracts a lot of potential fun I can have with the mission.

I hope they also buff the Alkonost and Volatol

Give the Bombushka it's guns back,give it the speed of a Titan,Avenger armor, countermeasure that can be used by the PILOT and remove the damn wall. If done the Bombushka is not only the best looking plane in the game but it will be finally usefull again. Now it is just gathering dust in my hangar

The Doomsday Heist setup with the plane is so frustrating because of this Turret bug. The other people just have to sit around and hope the pilot can drop bombs good.

I hope at some point they actually fix render distance on next gen consoles because thermal vision lets you see players from so far away but without thermal it feels like you need to be within auto aim distance before another player renders in. As an aircraft enjoyer I would love to be able to see my targets without using thermal but that’s just not an option 90% of the time

They need to add the same Gun on this that the Paraglider has. Its a very UNIQUE Gun that no other Aircraft has. If they gave it an upgrade with Explosive Ammo, that the normal Paraglider doesn't have, it would transform the Bombushka into a really cool Presidents Flying Fortress type of Plane. I have it normally and its still a fun plane. Its great for just fun cruises and crashing ontop of players. Its beautiful. The slow speed isnt so bad. Its just a cruising type of feel. I have all of the 4 big planes and the Bombushka is the least useful, but if you want to Fly it, its fun and I recommend buying it anyways. Seeing it Fly overhead releasing flares is really cool. Ask random players to fly it low overhead, youll be so happy for purchasing a big plane. Also if you lower the landing gear, you fly even slower. Sometimes thats what makes these 4 big planes Fun, you just float a castle over peoples heads. Great for Car shows pulling up etc. Every time I fly my planes I make sure to Crash Land when im done flying. Its so visually fun!

I gave up on gta a while ago but you still doin videos on gta is pretty awesome

R* logic is mostly off. how they can have a vehicle like an MKll Oppressor, which can be piloted by 1 player, can shoot missiles by that said player, can release flares by said player. & have another vehicle like the Bombushka, that can have more players be less effective...In The Same Game

Of course they probably won't fix the annoying invisible cone of firing. It's just annoying how even if it did have the defenses you still can't shoot Jack since the gun won't even shoot if it's outside the invisible cone. It would still suck in pvp if it didn't get defensive buffs, but at least if they fixed the cannons you could use it in pve.

I love the buff they did to it we always needed ut to take 2 more missiles!

Taking these massive bombers down should be like a boss fight, but currently they're just giant exploding targets that are more dangerous to their crew.

There has to be someone from rockstar that watches your videos. Youre too entertaining. They gotta be scraping up some ideas by now

That bug does in fact exist with the Volatol as well. There's also a similar bug with certain helicopters where passengers on the side can't aim their weapons in third person. You used to be able to aim a weapon and lock onto targets from the side of, say, an Annihilator, Maverick, Frogger, etc. but because of this bug that feature is basically completely pointless. The bug also makes you sometimes friendly-fire the helicopter by using explosive weapons like an RPG or grenade launcher, even though before that was never an issue. If they're buffing the Bombushka, not only do they need to fix its turrets, I think they need to fix camera-related bugs with a whole bunch of aircraft all around.

I really want the invisible wall removed. I want to be able to use the Bombushka for sale missions again

The bombushka was one of my favourite vehicles from smugglers run the most unique plane out of the entire roster however asking rockstar to do a simple task like fix the guns is Apparently it’s too bloody hard for them. They’ve had multiple instances to fix the problem like when criminal enterprise came out and they added a supply mission for the AI to drive the plane you would think they would test so that the AI can shoot the bloody gun on it but nope they haven’t. I remember there was another instance as well in another update, but I can’t remember it off the top of my head and also when they buffed hanger, you would think the stupid goofballs would’ve at least make sure all the old sell missions work properly for the new value buff but nope they didn’t even do it there I am almost willing to bet my entire existence that when the update comes out, it’s gonna take stupid amount of rockets but the guns can’t shoot let’s face it guys rockstar lost what’s half of their brain by cutting it out and beating it with a stick as a sacrifice to their Almighty God, the shark card intelligence is far from these fucking Morons I wouldn’t trust rockstar with a fucking car license let alone the responsibility to fix their own property….

I’m seeming at the eyes and I will be leaping for joy if this buff is actually good. Despite the bombushkas flaws, it’s one of my favourite vehicles mainly because of what it’s supposed to be. The thought of it actually becoming a fully fledged Spectre Gunship is nothing less than dream come true. I hope the day when me and the boys can use the top and bottom cannons in a 45 degree bank angle of attack circling the AO comes to reality

I agree with everything. Great video. I'm especially glad you mentioned the useless cargo bay because that was the most fun/useful thing for me until they inexplicably disabled it. My Bambushka is still sitting in my hanger collecting dust and waiting for the day Rockstar decides to fix it.

I always wanted the guns to that thing to operate like the handglider gun. Your look direction aims the guns. It will finally make it useful playing solo

It’s already hard enough keeping the the thing steady for your gunners to be more accurate, couple that with spotty flare timing and good armor, the pre nerfed version still didn’t deserve a nerf.

i will never forget the time 4 players in a titan tried to fly directly nose up after they took off from the airport and the plane sunk like a rock and they all blew up and died, this was near the launch of gta online and i remember being at the helipads near the airport when i saw it.

If they wanna keep the laughably slow speed of the bombushka they should change the explosive turrets into the savage's explosive minigun. This thing should act as a powerful gunship if operated by a competent crew.

if it did get a buff, plus with the fixed turrets and the removal of invisible boxes, instead replace it with a unique box that keeps vehicles still and prevent it from moving or dmging the plane, it would open a new away to have fun on the sandbox of gta 5, like if players are in armour vehicles such as emoni-tech or nightsharks and they see a slow AC-130 above and it has explosive cannon that does lethal dmg, they'll be afraid and run away, or in this case risk and get out and railgun it if you have to cus if you try to spawn a mk2 or jet/helicopter, they will target that first, the only places your safe is inside buildings were you can peak out and shoot and duck back in, but they will still try to hit you cus of AOE, so my opinion, give it like avenger or moc/acidlab armour, the only biggest weakness is jets and savage (if caught off guard) stealth enemies and skilled sniper players, thats my opinion/idea, what you think ghillie

Knowing RS, they’ll give the defensive buff like 10% more damage output and for armor they’ll make it take 1 more RPG. And I bet they’ll give it a 2mph increase in speed.

Instead of buffing this dud they should add an AC-130 that just doesn't suck

Wow i never realised how slow it was since i nevr got suckered into buying it 😂 I've never seen one in a lobby either so i didnt realise how bad it is. The fixes ghillie has mentioned would be great except maybe the turrets still being explosive because that can clearly be abused but i suppose what in gta cant?

Give it moc cab armor, default missile jammer, bombs with street wide radiuses and stealth mode that if chosen disables the explosive rounds and turns them into regular rounds.

All I hope is that the sparrow gets a more shock absorbing landing gear.

I feel like no matter how they buff it, it'll still need a rouge or something similar protecting it
