I think something that's important to mention is that, unlike specials like Ink Vac, Reefslider, and Triple Splashdown (and to a lesser extent Triple Inkstrike), Booyah Bombs don't actually paint all at once in a quick burst, but instead slowly expand over the course of a few seconds. This means that, if an enemy player with a decently-well-painting weapon shoots into your Booyah Bomb, it's not likely to flip the zone at all because it doesn't actually paint faster than they do. It's generally better to throw the special in a way that interferes with the enemy team (thereby stopping them from defending the zone) than it is to just throw it directly on the zone when someone's guarding it.

It's crazy that Reefslider is better at taking zones than Booyah Bomb.

For the Gold Aerospray specifically, the instant refill can also let you throw out a bonus sprinkler, ought to be useful on zones with an obstacle in the middle where you can sprinkler the near end and booyah the far end.

Pretty much what I expected - even at low level Booyah is very telegraphed and easy to dodge but you still have to respect it because it paints well enough and denies area for long enough that it's very good at forcing players out of locations you don't want them to be in(especially if you toss it in enemy paint in choke points where their only option is to retreat and give you that space)

using this chance to let people know in the post fizzbang world , gold aerosrpay is a menace in splatfests but so are weapons that really dun have painting subs in general try using reeflux with wall and some fizzbangs or inkbrush with mines it's funny.

its not about the paint its about taking space and letting your team get in to help its shortcomings, refill ink and survivability.

Booyah bomb is more displacement than splat zone capping as if you displace the enemy team it's hard for them to paint the zone and they may have to back from the special compared to throwing booyah at the zone where the enemy team can contest the paint. Of course there is more nuance than this but the paint is just too slowly applied to cap a zone unless your booyah paint is not being contested.

Color me surprised when I've woken up to see myself in a Squid School vídeo (I was Salacia L.), and it's one of my lesser performances... It is nice, I guess, but it also does kind of suck to have me failing at Custom Hydra immortalized.

Booyah Bomb in the first 30 seconds of match isnt about the paint output or displacement Its a litmus test on which of your teammates just want to have fun with you

you don't play aerospray to paint you pick it to see how many booyah bombs you can get with max scu (my record is 9)

Gem, the Booyah bomb is a displacement special. It's not for painting the zone, although it will paint the ground a bit.

Well this was a plesant suprise i never play ranked, comp, anarchy. What ever but i play tones of turf with golden aero. I though all the stuff you said today was common knowledge but it seems as i was wrong... makes me think what knowledge i could posllible impart on makeing the most oit of paint per second...

I’m always curious 🧐 lots of times I throw my booyah bomb in the middle of the map.
