The biggest mistake (other than doing work for exposure) a new photographer can make is undercharge... your price is a direct reflection of quality for a customer... if you charge $1 for a shoot a customer will only get $1 worth of pictures even if they're the most amazing pictures anyone ever took.... if you charge $5000 for a shoot even mediocre pictures will look absolutely fantastic in the customers eyes

Yes but what is the other option? Tell the price that they are worth with the possibility the client wont like them? In a couple of months I may do a product photoshoot and may an ad but I lack several pieces of equipment I can rent or I can do it with my equipment for less price or even some samples for free and if the client likes that we continue on numbers. I would like your honest opinion as for that so I will know what to do then.

Can anyone tell me the difference between an nd filter and a polarizing filter? I haven’t been able to understand it

nd filter is sunglasses for your lens/camera. makes things darker so you can uses wider apertures or avoid overexposure in video. Polarizers basically removes reflections from windows and water. Also has some other effects but main point is it removes reflections.

ND cuts light... you get X stops of less light... Polarizing filter don't cut light... you get the same amount of light through but the light isn't polarized meaning things like reflection will be gone

ND cuts light rays coming from all directions, polarizer cuts light rays coming from a particular direction, like reflections.

impossible to tell because it highly depends on what area you're in... what you customers can afford etc etc etc... just check what other photographers in your area charge

This doesn't make any sense. What's the difference between a basic range and a full rate? And you're still deciding on the figure at the end of the day aren't you? This makes absoutely no sense at all, how is the client deciding? You have to bill a fixed number, how do you determine that? What the hell mate, this is all just words, completely nonsensical.
