@Daniel Jesuloba, you're making us all proud and at the same time, giving us hope in believing that it is indeed possible with hard work. Felicitations 👌🏽
Just chuckled at one of the comments about “See me, I don buy new house…” videos now trending with abroad-based Naija ‘tubers 😊. But seriously I think it speaks to the average Nigerian’s aspiration to simply make the best of their lives. Something that is seemingly difficult if not impossible to achieve back home. Opportunities to live, work and earn a decent living in the UK for example has always been there, and the system to some extent does support people to do stuff like buying a house easily, if you are determined and ambitious. So I get why buying a house is somewhat of a novelty to mostly recent immigrants. My 2cent has always been that everyone should consider the “new house” purchase as part of your whole life financial plan, including your pension, other investments etc. Try not to overspend on a “forever” house and be sensible with how you deal with lifestyle creep.
Just a quick correction, don’t want people to be misinformed. Stamp duty is not free for first time buyers, it depends on the rice of the house. People can check the stamp duty calculator. Life insurance is also not mandatory for a mortage. Houses in London are more expensive so they have a higher threshold while the houses outside London are cheaper and hence a lower stamp duty threshold.
I recently relocated from England to northern ireland after a year in the uk. I changed my address on the electoral register but my credit score went down by 29 points. What can helps shoot it up?
@@valerie766 😂😂😂 Bad idea. Over 50 years of age? And an immigrant? 😂😂😂 - They would NOT even look at you, what sort of advice is that? Even white English 50 years old age don’t even get looked at, and you think an immigrant would be place on council ? Gosh
Brilliant content mate .. where did you find the property.. (on what platform).. how can I get a property of this kind and value and what area of Kent exactly is this if you don’t mind sharing (privately if you want as well) .. actively searching for a property but not finding anything that I fancy within my budget..
