How much we spent on a 4 week Orlando Holiday in 2023 | A complete break down of EVERYTHING
Following some comments and questions about HOW MUCH we spent on our Orlando 2023 trip, we took an opportunity to break down EXACTLY how much we spent on our epic holiday.
Thank you so much for watching our vlogs and a MASSIVE shout out to all of you who have watched from the beginning. It really does mean everything to us. We really hope you're enjoyed this vlog series as much as we enjoyed making it, and as much as we are loving the opportunity to re-live and share our memories.

Great vlog. Thanks for your transparency over your holiday costs. We used Iride trolley once which was a bargain. You did very well with your costs. When you break your costs down per person/per day you got a bargain though your wallet may disagree 🤣. Try Discovery Cove next time , it’s amazing. It’s nice and quiet and all drinks and food are included. We did MNSSHP in October 2022 and loved it. We got 6lb of candy 🍬 😮. I thought it was well worth the money to do all the rides without the crowds. We are doing after hours parties only in our upcoming trip in July. I am going with my 17 year old and we have done the parks so many times we don’t feel the need to hammer the parks all day every day . I think you get more savvy with spends in Florida the more times you go.

Hi Hazel - thanks so much for your comment. You're right, the more you go, the more you learn how to be savvy. Also, groups like It's Orlando Time on FB really help with sharing those valuable nuggets of information. We will definitely do Discovery Cove next time I think - the only reason we didn't this time was Blake's lack of confidence in the water (and we're already working on that) 😉

So I just watched this and I’m amazed the cost was as low as this. A lot of the lower costs like tickets to the Pirate Show are due to Donna’s clever use of offers and vouchers so it shows that makes a big difference and it’s worth doing your research. I watched your Orlando Vlogs and you were frugal buying supermarket food to keep in the room and eating at cheaper places most of the time. It shows it’s possible to do Orlando on a budget even though nobody can pretend Orlando is a cheap vacation. Well done for sharing this. No doubt Orlando is a luxury vacation for Brits but as you say if you don’t need a new car and you don’t have an expensive house to pay for then it’s quite doable if you save up for 3-4 years especially. I can really see you two becoming special needs parent ambassadors to help people in the same situation who have children with similar special needs. X

Great vlog Donna and Jake ❤🎉 You planned and waited for your holiday for so long and you were able to find the best deals and get the most for your money. I loved hearing the breakdown of everything you spent and your right it so hard to say to people visiting for the first time you will need X amount of money because everyones spending is different. This was great. Thanks for sharing. I’ve started planning our 2025 trip and honestly finding the best deals and planning your budget is part of the fun 😄. We didn’t think we would do MNNSHP again after the first time, but we couldn’t resist going last year ….. and now it’s possibly becoming a tradition to do on our last night. I might have to plan the whole holiday around it 🤣

You did brilliant with spending so little we are going in September and staying on property and we have the promo deal ( dining and merchandise card and spending gift card ) which will help us keep costs down and I have a tip if you are Costco members you can hire a car through them which we did twice in 2022 didn’t work out that bad considering just after covid where prices were silly they were cheaper than direct with companies

It is very interesting how you break down the costs. This way everybody can add or subtract what they do or don't need. You should check out autoeurope for the car we always use it for our trip. We had a premium suv as we were 6 people and paid 1000€ for 2 weeks with a gold rate. That was Nov. 2023. But that car also brings the costs up for parking at the parks which is now up to 35$/day I believe. Well, somebody wrote to go to Discovery Cove and with that you'll get 14 days Seaworld entry and free parking. We love D.C. so relaxing. Great vlog 🎉 can't wait for the next one

Have loved this series, we go again in September and for the first time we are not staying in a villa or hiring a car 😮 We have booked 4 nights at Dockside and then 14 at All Star Sports. Thanks for sharing Lyndsey

Hi Lyndsey. Thanks so much for watching and your kind comments. We LOVED endless summer. You'll have a fab time there! Sept isn't far away - I bet you're counting the days 😁 And yes, if you're not renting a car the itrolley is great. Definitely worth it if you're going to go up and down i-drive. Even better if you can get a deal through attraction tickets! Let us know if you have any more questions 😁

@lyndseybond3307 5 месяцев назад
@@thefinlayadventure6255 thank you so much for replying. Attraction Tickets have a deal at the moment where 14 days is the same price as 7 so might go for it. We thought even when we are at Disney we can get from Vineland to the top end quite easily via the I trolley and potentially could spend another day at Universal if we wanted to. We previously stayed at Cabana Bay last year for a night but wanted to try someone different, was just worried as the deal we got seem so cheap. Hope your having a great weekend x

@@lyndseybond3307 that is a great deal. So much cheaper than an Uber too! We wish we'd used it more than we did so definitely make the most of it. Using it for shopping days etc while at Disney is a good idea. How was Cabana Bay? It looks nice. Considering Endless Summer are universal hotels, it's crazy how inexpensive they are. Really hope you enjoy it as much as we did
@lyndseybond3307

Ordered, thank you and they were also offering a discount code so just over £11 each. Cabana Bay was lovely but the rooms didn’t seem as up to date as Endless Summer. We had an amazing view of volcano bay but the windows were full glass floor to ceiling, which made me feel a bit funny as we were on the 5th floor. Heights don’t normally bother me but I didn’t like that 😬 weird isn’t it. Thank you again for replying and being honest xx

@@thefinlayadventure6255 ah I see. Would be interesting to see the total including the dues for the year you went just so people have an idea of overall cost with dvc. This has baffled me.. Who is saying it cost you 50K ? Why do you think you need to do a video addressing this? Are you doing the video for views and attention? It’s up to you how you spend your cash.. no one else matters.. If you ring BA and explain about your son, they will write off the seat booking charge. He has legal rights flying into America And… you have cheated because you have paid for that accommodation in advance, it’s a kind of amortisation. 😊
