@@JustMe-dn9fh Yea once a week injection and I haven’t stopped taking it but I would assume yes the weight would probably come back if I went back to same bad eating habits. It’s gonna be a life change to keep it off.
Just started it for management of my polycystic ovarian syndrome because I just am so tired of taking pills. The highest weight was 323 and once I was diagnosed with PCOS and was properly medicated with metformin birth control and spironolactone, I lost 70 pounds but I’m just so over having to take so many pills every day so I’m excited to start this new medication and hope to see major weight loss myself
I'm new on mounjaro for type 2 diabetes. I started on the 2.5 mg and noticed a weight reduction on my 3rd injection. My side effects was after the 1st inj. I had nausea, weakness, and dizziness. I took a few sips of gingerale and the nausea subsided almost immediately. I laid down because of the dizziness and weakness, fell asleep for about 3 hrs and was fine after waking. I haven't really changed my choices of food. I just don't eat near as much food as before. I literally can go all day on 1 small meal. I like it so far, hoping there won't be long-term side effects. Also I eat for nourishment and not out of hungry. All the best😊
I’d like a medical opinion on that question too. I’ve used mounjaro for 4 months and have lost 25 pounds. BUT I run on my treadmill 5-6 times a week for 30 minutes each. I lift weights and do floor exercises daily too. My body is changing. I’d like yo know if that’s because of MY efforts or the mounjaro.
It’s completely different in my experience. Mounjaro takes away the hunger. You no longer crave food… you’re happy with eating a small healthy meal, feeling very full and satisfied for hours. You don’t feel like snacking, you don’t crave sugar. I had to schedule my meals because I’d often forget to eat otherwise. You just feel satisfied all the time. And on top of that if you make healthy food choices and you do some exercise, the weight just melts off like ice on a hot day.
I have been on Mounjaro for a year now and I have lost 80lbs but now my issue is bloating whereas I look pregnant. I am a diabetic and it has lowered my A1c greatly l am now on 10 mg of Mounjaro.
Ive lost 20lbs in 1 month. No drugs. I had cervical spine fusion last month and was living off meal replacement shakes because swallowing was difficult for 2 weeks and I work in a kitchen at a senior living community and being around food all day kills my appetite.
Yes that’s right. If you’re just hypothyroid then you’re clear to use it. But nodules is a No. BTW they only saw thyroid cancer in lab rats; none of the humans in their huge studies developed thyroid cancer.
I’ve been on mounjaro for 4 months starting from the lowest setting and moving up each month. I’ve lost 15 pounds I’ve taken 2 10 ml now. I’ve noticed the full feeling a little more now but I would like someone to let me know more about it. I’m taking it for my type to diabetes. I’m curious if I’m missing something or not
Nope...youre not missing anything. They should top you out at 15mg....from there you will stay and notice rhe changes ALOT more. I've been on it for a year and have lost 130Lbs....from 330Lbs. to 198Lbs ....I no longer look liked the same person. The biggest obstacle is realizing I am officially skinny....and have to buy an entire wardrobe ....now, Im finally going to implement an exercise routine to improve an maintain muscle mass.
I’m still on 10mg and I haven’t lost any weight and the cravings have slowly come back doctor said it’s made for diabetes not weight loss just a happy side effect so I’ve been greatful for very little side effects but now with the holidays they are out of stock and my sugars are getting worse
@@jaronmendez7433 I use "Express Scripts" to have my Mounjaro prescription filled. They are a pharmacy delivery service....they send me a 3 month supply(12 weekly injections)...with a minus one monthly copay discount on EVERY delivery(3 months supply for the price of 2)... ....I haven't has a shortage issue with them....as before, I did with regular pharmacies running short.... ...anyway, I'm about to start a reverse course back down in dosage regime so that I DONT lose anymore weight on 15mg. I'm only 4Lbs away from my perfect BMI....so they want me to cease and desist on the weight loss part.
I lost 5 lbs in a month. I have zero side effects and I still have an appetite. I just don't feel as hungry often. But I will continue because my fasting bs are improving
