If someone is a country like Kenya those few dollars will be alot I got paid 20k in my currency un 2 days 20k in my currency is alot 405 dollars in my currency is the average monthly salary in my country so its worth it
@@Not_A_Furry_Official never mate. It's the rate before RU-vid takes their cut. How can you make something you can never make? No buisness runs for free. If you like it then like it, but in my perspective I don't like it, i like realism. Anyhow, good luck on RU-vid!
I dont really make shorts as a yt format but short yt content definetly. I do earn 3usd for 250k views... (10second videos) bruh not even enough for peanuts
I think it is normal that RU-vid dorsnt pay 100% from the ads and the revenue share programe is fair and it is the best paying platform yet. Also creators sould not solely rely on ad revenue if money is an important factor. Great editing as usual! 🎉
Very true❤ Gotta branch out & go for sponsorships, fan funding, affiliate marketing, etc. Going to VidCon is a great way to branch out. Sponsors r there looking for creators, & u meet other creators. There r opportunities for Collabs.
I have NEVER got 55%. RU-vid will get anywhere from $7 - $14 on my videos & cut me in for $2 - $6 max. Looking at one right now: RPM 3.26..CPM 10.99. Most recent vid that has rev analytics available: RPM $1.94...CPM $7.90
Pls Reply anyone,,,If u get monetized from shorts with that 10m views, can u still earn money if u post long form vid afterwards, or if u got monetized from shorts, u can earn only from shorts, u need to get monetized with that 4k views to earn from long form video
Does anyone know if RU-vid just massively nerfed shorts recently? I made this channel a few days ago to upload satirical brain rot type videos for fun, and when I’ve made channels in the past, shorts would get a few hundred views as like the test audience, but this just doesn’t seem to happen anymore. Anyone know why?
Hey, my family keeps on saying you get paid almost nothing (i know that's true), but i keep on telling them it'll add up, trust me... they still say its pointless
I wish I could join the YPP, but I'm literally too poor to set it up. I have no money and can't afford a photo id, which has stopped me from setting up the adsense account. And I can't contact them for support since I have to be in the YPP for that :/
One of the biggest flaws with YT IMO. Is they're driven towards LONG content. Whereas Tiktok is the perfect space for me to appeal to an audience that enjoys 2-3 minute videos. It feels like no coincidence that my best performing video on yt is my longest video.
Yikes... My 2nd channel which is dedicated to Madden/NFL is averaging about 200K YT Shorts views outside of my long-form views. 800K paying $12 is awful to see 💀
after 168.2k shorts views i got £0.94 literally nothing. i got £85.17 for a long-form (48 seconds long) with 108.7k views. you get penuts for shorts but making 1 long form a day with 100k views could be quite good!
Hey! Could you please report this issue with your existing vidIQ account, we have a dedicated 24/7 Creator Support Team that will be more than happy to assist you with this. They can be reached via email at support@vidiq.com or by opening a chat at app.vidiq.com.
doesn't change the fact that you want to be doing long form content because as soon as you post a short it gets put into the dumpster. At least at this point in time you can ask anyone how their shorts impacted their long form content.
@@Electro_Hiddens it depends on what your plan is, what your content is and which type of content you enjoy doing more. Speaking strictly from RU-vid's monetization point of view, currently the long form content makes you more money. How much money you'll make from that will depend on your niche, ie. financial content and how to do youtube content like vidiq will make you more views since people want to know how to make money and how to do youtube stuff. However, I have no idea if that will shift to the newer live stream option. But if the shorts you make are an excerpt from you long form video then that can also work, but it's additional work.
@@JackallDigital all i am is a guy who shares things he finds interesting, and build an audience. and for money, i am in Algeria so the cash will be ok for me
It's to make changes to your videos, like adding tags etc. You can learn more here: support.vidiq.com/en/articles/3457281-what-youtube-permissions-does-vidiq-need-and-why-do-we-need-them?location=conversation

Creators gotta branch out & go for sponsorships, fan funding, affiliate marketing, etc. Going to VidCon is a great way to branch out. Sponsors r there looking for creators, & u meet other creators. There r opportunities for Collabs. IMO, I don't think it's fair for YT to take any % of a creator's fan funding. Although they're the highest paying platform, YT already takes enough. Fan funding should go 100% to the creator ... Like many fans believe it does. But I don't make the rules...
