I was not expecting the pay out to be this decent! Especially for only releasing one video this past month! I can only imagine how insane the payout must be for those bigger channels that release a video every day! I figured RU-vid must be paying well because there’s countless RU-vidrs I’ve watched start in their bedroom and move on to buy their own freaking house! While I continue to waist my life at my 8-5 and overwork for a boss who underpays. Thank you for the video and your transparency!

We just started 3 months ago and have less than 400 subscribers and 194 watch hours - so we are clearly not monetized and have a long way to go, but we’re hoping that us being PASSIONATE and ENJOY making our vanlife travel videos will be enough to support us one day. It’s scary taking a risk on yourself but at the end of the day it may be best thing you can ever do for your own happiness and sense of freedom. That's a great explanation. I avg about $350 a day and I don't pay any taxes. That really surprises most people especially when I tell them how long I've been doing it without the government jacking me up. Keep the great videos coming.
