True...longer videos usually run more ads, also as I've mentioned in a few videos different genres pay differently. Finance content is the highest paid per 1000 views.
Bro i have a question please answer so when you monetized do you get a option to choose how you want your currency set in your analytics e.g in ZAR or USD or it automatically sets and what bank do you need to withdraw funds and can you send it to PayPal?

If a person resides in South Africa, but their content is tailored to the USA audience, can they take advantage of the higher CPM of the USA demographic? USA CPM can be as high as $10 - $18
You looking at around R1100 depending on the content. With normal long form videos at 1 million views now in 2024 you looking at around R50 000 to R70 000 on the minimum.
Oh wow! as I can see there it has to do with viewer retention there.. and likes clicked.. I mean you could have higher views, but viewers are hopping or skipping through it.. giving you fewer viewed hours on the video. That's why the 3rd video gave you more.. You answered our question and everyone viewed the complete video giving max view hours... Does this make sense to you too??? 😎
That’s $2 per 1000 views. That’s about the current average for ordinary content. Some of our videos are pushing $6 per 1000. It really depends on content, which determines targeted advertisers and finally length of the video which also determines how many ad rolls you can plug a video.
The value I showed is after googles fees 👍 Also the amount Google shows it pays is direct. There is no additional bank fees or like PayPal fees. There’s also no taxes. The taxes is on you. If you’re a sole proprietor you could write most your expensive off to creating content.
@@RICH_Photography hmm banks would always take me money for: 1) having an account at them 2) for withdraw 3) i would lose money when converted usd to my currency. i was making money selling goods online and i would get paid in dollars, but i could withraw from atm only my currency
Honestly if you look at it with hours, it's probably not worth it. It can take me a good 16 to 20 hours to produce 1 RU-vid video. However the difference is, unlike a normal client job, these videos earn you money year after year, almost like a passive income.
Whoever gets R7k for 400k views in South Africa is doing a good quality * job and can have my sub any day. Respect for not making me spend 15 minutes figuring that out.
