In 2016 I discovered the Seth Books. Seth Speaks, The Eternal Reality of the Soul is a channeled text by Jane Roberts and her husband Robert Butts.
This book was my first introduction to the idea that we create our reality and that everything we see in the physical world is a projection of our thoughts. I literally kept having to put the book down to process the information because it was such a mind bender. Now years later it is fascinating that how differently I look at reality because of being repeatedly exposed to this information. At first it can be disorienting. But over time it becomes empowering because I learned that if I wanted my reality to changed the only person I needed to worry about was myself.
