Very helpful. I would live to know what are the fresher certificates and the job roles which i can get to enter the cloud security field. (Disclaimer: i am a 1st year student doing masters in cybersecurity.)
Nice video. To become a blue teamer. Would you recommend the try hack me path (SOC1 SoC2) or should I rather go for blue team level 1 Cert and then Blue Team Level2. Considering I do not have to pay for anything.
As far as BTL1/2 is concerned, it's not one or the other without experience. Number 2 is much more intensive and requires solid blue team experience beforehand. I went into BTL1 with Security+ knowledge and landed a SOC job shortly after. Can't recommend BTL1 enough for getting your first start.
@@LifeAfterSOC thx. Well I finished a Cyberbootcamp (4 months) Passed AZ900/SC900 will God willing pass CCNA in two weeks and have about 3 months work experience in cloud security. Would you say that’s enough to go for BTL1? I do not have SOC Analyst work experience
BTL1 is great for the knowledge and hands on experience. You can use the THM SOC 1 & 2 paths for practice as they greatly complement the BTL1. I wouldn’t recommend the BTL2 until you’ve done the BTL1 or have some exercises under your belt.
