Goals for the year include getting AWS Cloud Practitioner, CCD & EJPT, but mostly focusing on homelab/projects. Focusing on getting my hands dirty this year and getting my portfolio together.

You emphasizing a far more technical focus of the channel and shifting away from that other influencer-esque content has earned my respect; that’s also shined well with your advice within this video. Putting your nose to the grindstone and learning is so essential and has seemed to become a lost concept in security field hype. You can always count me in as a view and like on your future videos. Yeah I really agree with you on working out, whenever I workout I really perform well career wise. You jus easily go an extra mile the same way you go for extra sets when working out.. Working out also plays a great role when it comes to discipline.

Practical learning was so obvious to me since the start of my journey. Little rough on the HR side as they don't know anything outside of comptia but we gettin in there. Your talks with Tadi were always interesting/fun

Technical videos arent less cared about it. Its just most the audience is listening while at work etc cant listem to most technical videos so its a more accurate representation of audience too

Most tech companies and the companies I work at don’t *care* how you look. I keep hearing and appearance tidy and I think that’s really all that matters. As long as it’s not unruly, then you should be fine.

Hey Day, Happy New Year. I’ve been getting mixed info and wanted to ask; Do you think you need to learn Network+ or can you bypass and just start studying for CompTIA Cybersecurity to get into cyber sec. Also, what can I do to put myself ahead of the curve?

Okay, first...what is CompTIA Cybersecurity? Second, I won't recommend skipping Networking fundamentals covered by the Network+, you don't necessarily have to take the exam but you should still acquire the relevant knowledge.
