The Penguin is a stunning masterpiece that brilliantly combines gripping storytelling with exceptional character development, making it an unforgettable addition to the DC universe!
Just finished episode 1 of The Penguin, I’m locked in! You see that restaurant scene when Oz was just chatting away and you can see in Sofia’s eyes how quickly she put two and two together, cold.
The first episode was very good for me. I can't say enough good things about the Penguin-that was incredible!!! I love seeing Gotham's underworld from his perspective; it really feels like a powder keg about to explode. It was a very strong start to the series, but that ending had me so hyped.
Love Esther, very engaging guest. I thought you guys research your guests, how you didn't know she did MTV the challenge show, she lasted pretty long too. But anyway, all I wanna say is Foxes viennesse biscuits is it 😋
So nice to hear from Esther Regarding the penguin i have been anticipating every episode following the discussion from the lads. I hold HBO to a higher standard than other networks, some of my favorite TV shows have been created by HBO ( band of brothers and The leftovers). Currently it appears The Penguin is following the same trend of interesting dialogue and captivating performances . Sofia Falcone played by Cristin Millioti so far has been star of the show , stealing every scene she is in. Then we have Victor and Oz , im really enjoying this weird dynamic between the two. Two disabled individuals finding common ground in the dark underworld of Gotham , its almost poetic . One thing i really enjoyed about episode 3 is that they highlighted the aftermath of the riddlers plan , which was beautifully shown by victor's inner turmoil and desire to leave Gotham . Looking forward to episode 4 and discussing it in the 90sbaby discord! ( bring back things we watched , im tryna appear in an episode) kojiro
This episode was jokes! I like Esther’s energy! VP was right it’s Australia not Oceana!😅 and Fred it’s okay I say “my-low” aswell it makes sense! Congrats on your 100k subs aswell bro!
What wrong with studying Art? Why do they have to speak to someone or convince you? 1:12:50 you as a parent should be encouraging your child's talent/interest in art if they're into it from young, so by the time it would come to uni there wouldn't be any doubt. Creative studies are just as academic as any other regardless of the field they end up in you shouldn't be the one to question their dreams. Thank God for my mum and family, they always gave me confidence from early before anyone else and now I'm in New-York studying my masters in fine arts. There's more to life than getting a job just for money, there's more to bring fulfilled. Life is a struggle anyway I'd rather struggle in my passion🫶🏾
