As a turkish person I'm so glad to hear that,so many people see us as "bad people" and don't wanna learn anything but are just judging us that it makes me sad.Thank you for saying such kind words
I genuinely amaze how awoke and honest his view about this world. May Allah guide all of us 🤲 I mean he's a living history book or witness. MasyaAllah 👍📖📚
"What I hate most is black and white logic" Your grandfather has a very well cultivated thought process, a real gem of a human being he is. Thank you for helping us meet him.
alongbling no i think it’s forbidden to give dua to someone who is dead without being muslim. When Mohamed (psl) wanted to do dua for his parents Allah forbid it to him.
Ilyes Benachi oh maybe because one day I read some shiite’s articles and I was very shocked I asked myself if this is true what did I do in that religion. But alhamdoulilah I had the spirit to ask someone who know everything in the Quran and he said me that wasn’t true and that was shiite’s texts and he told me to avoid it. All we see in google isn’t true so maybe that article don’t tell the truth I will ask to another imam about that.
Ilyes Benachi yes sure because Quran is very complex. Sometimes I read it and I don’t understand what Allah wanted to say in that verses and I go to ask someone who knows Quran better than me and he explains me the verses. May Allah guide us in the path of truth but shiite’s texts will conduct many people in the wrong path because I almost believe all they said about Sahabas. Have a nice journey ❤️
Ben Türk'üm ve İslam hakkında bu kadar bilgi edinmen yani doğru bilgi edimen beni çok mutlu etti ve Türkleri sevmeniz, saygı duymanız beni çok onurlandırdı teşekkürlerr💜💜
You are blessed to have a grandfather like him. He is brilliant man - a man of experience, wisdom and compassion. May Allah give guidance, long and healthy life and jannah to him.
Thats true these are some for people who are wondering: [أَحَسِبَ النَّاسُ أَن يُتْرَكُواْ أَن يَقُولُواْ ءَامَنَّا وَهُمْ لاَ يُفْتَنُونَ ] (Do people think that they will be left alone because they say: “We believe,” and will not be tested.) This is a rebuke in the form of a question, meaning that Allah will inevitably test His believing servants according to their level of faith, as it recorded in the authentic Hadith: «أَشَدُّ النَّاسِ بَلَاءً الْأَنْبِيَاءُ، ثُمَّ الصَّالِحُونَ، ثُمَّ الْأَمْثَلُ فَالْأَمْثَلُ، يُبْتَلَى الرَّجُلُ عَلَى حَسَبِ دِينِهِ، فَإِنْ كَانَ فِي دِينِهِ صَلَابَةٌ زِيدَ لَهُ فِي الْبَلَاء» (The people most severly tested are the Prophets, then the righteous, then the next best and the next best. A man will be tested in accordance with the degree of his religious commitment; the stonger his religious commitment, the stronger his test.) This Ayah is like the Ayah, [أَمْ حَسِبْتُمْ أَن تَدْخُلُواْ الْجَنَّةَ وَلَمَّا يَعْلَمِ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ جَـهَدُواْ مِنكُمْ وَيَعْلَمَ الصَّـبِرِينَ ] (Do you think that you will enter Paradise without Allah knowing those of you who fought (in His cause) and knowing those who are the patient) (3:142) There is a similar Ayah in Surat At-Tawbah. And Allah says: [أَمْ حَسِبْتُمْ أَن تَدْخُلُواْ الْجَنَّةَ وَلَمَّا يَأْتِكُم مَّثَلُ الَّذِينَ خَلَوْاْ مِن قَبْلِكُم مَّسَّتْهُمُ الْبَأْسَآءُ وَالضَّرَّآءُ وَزُلْزِلُواْ حَتَّى يَقُولَ الرَّسُولُ وَالَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ مَعَهُ مَتَى نَصْرُ اللَّهِ أَلاَ إِنَّ نَصْرَ اللَّهِ قَرِيبٌ ] (Or think you that you will enter Paradise without such (trials) as came to those who passed away before you They were afflicted with severe poverty and ailments and were so shaken that even the Messenger and those who believed along with him said, “When (will come) the help of Allah” Yes! Certainly, the help of Allah is near!) (2:214) Allah says here: [وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ فَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ صَدَقُواْ وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ الْكَـذِبِينَ ] (And We indeed tested those who were before them so that Allah will know those who are true, and will know those who are liars.) meaning, He will make know which are sincere in their claim to be believers from those who are lying. Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, knows what has happened in the past and what is yet to come, and He knows how that which will not happen would have happened if it were to happen. All the Imams of Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jama`ah are agreed on this. This is the view of Ibn `Abbas and others concerning phrases such as the Ayah, [إِلاَّ لِنَعْلَمَ] (only that We know) (2:143). Meaning, only to see - because seeing has to do with what is there, but knowledge is broader than seeing, since it includes what is not present as well as what is. I know you haven’t red the quran because you say Islam doesn’t teach killing or bad things. 9:29 calls to kill Christians and Jews 4:34 says it’s OK to beat your wife Sura 9:29 Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the Scripture - [fight] until they give the jizyah willingly while they are humbled. 4:34 Men are in charge of women by [right of] what Allah has given one over the other and what they spend [for maintenance] from their wealth. So righteous women are devoutly obedient, guarding in [the husband's] absence what Allah would have them guard. But those [wives] from whom you fear arrogance - [first] advise them; [then if they persist], forsake them in bed; and [finally], strike them. But if they obey you [once more], seek no means against them. Indeed, Allah is ever Exalted and Grand
You’re grandpa is a really intelligent man😌 he understood that: you need to take you’re choices in life without people judging you👏🏼 May Allah protect us all👏🏼

Ms Dutchyy [The way he talks about Islam warms my heart] Did he read Quran Surah 33:25 to 27? That Muhammad beheaded 900 Bani Qurayza Jews in one night. - DID YOU?!
@@goongoorlopatel4008 you have to read the full story behind that smart guy Because when I say that the US authorities have executed 100 people, it will be a bad thing to hear But if you know these 100 people are murderers and raping girls and stolers .. I'm tearing up.. I miss my grandparents so much. Miss having heart felt conversations like this. miss the warmth of their presence. I just want to say to everyone who still have their grandparents around. Don't take them lightly, They have so much wisdom to share.
A kind heart, May Allah also guide him to Islam, Muslims did you notis that? " to put the world right in order, we must first put the family, personal life and our hearts right in order" 2:30 min, Ibn 'Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: I heard Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying, "All of you are guardians and are responsible for your wards. The ruler is a guardian and responsible for his subjects; the man is a guardian and responsible for his family; the woman is a guardian and is responsible for her husbands house and his offspring; and so all of you are guardians and are responsible for your wards." [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
Your grandfather is so sweet. The way he talks reminded me of this hadith: The Prophet SAW said, Shall I not tell you for whom the hellfire is forbidden? It is every person who is gentle, polite, and easy-going. (Tirmidhi) And your 할아버지 is all three :') May Allah bless you n your family always.
This is why i really admire old people more than young people. Because they are so wise, so experienced, so compassionate, so positive. They're so openminded but not crossing the line. It's like they are awake enough to understand the deeper meaning of life, and it's implemented in their good behaviour. I adore your grandpa sooo much. He's a very positive and kindhearted humam being. I hope he will accept Islam.
“If you choose with your own belief and reason, I respect you” Omg I love your Grandad his so open-minded and respectful. I hope all your family reacts this way. 💜
Your story reminds me of this surah an-nasr: "When the victory of Allah has come and the conquest,And you see the people entering into the religion of Allah in multitudes, Then exalt [Him] with praise of your Lord and ask forgiveness of Him. Indeed, He is ever Accepting of repentance." I hope Allah will ease all the hardships that will come in your life and I want to thank you for showing this beautiful side of us to your people Take your time for the shahada, do it when you're ready so that you can fully appreciate the beauty of this moment When I hear you talking I can feel the kindness and understand why Allah blessed you❤
Suka bangeet ,,, keereen sih ini masya Allah,, adem banget kakek nya ramah pula, semoga bisa masuk islam juga,, aamiin Semoga Allah teguhkan iman mu jugaa, 🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩 أنا من إندونيسيا
This honestly made me cry, I'm so happy for you Masha'allah. Your grandpa is also so educated and so wise, you are blessed to have him. Insha'Allah good will always be upon your path :). Greetings from Tunisia 💞
Hi daud kim...I know you the first time when you’re talking about whether music is haram, and since that I was wondering and started searching who you’re. Before going forward, I would like to introduce myself. I am heru, Indonesian, who is currently studying in Korea. I have watched some of your videos and I am thinking that you’re inspiring person especially for those who want to know and study more about islam. I am muslim, and was born as muslim. I am greatful of that. To my mind, you’re the luckiest person...why? Because Allah guides you to find the truth; I pray you’re alwass blessed by Allah. I commented on this video because i am interested in you and your grandpa’s conversation...your grandpa is very amazing...he is wise guy with high tolerance and modern thoughts. I sometimes stroll around here, meet some old koreans...they are very nice...they give me some foods, ask me to communicate but unfortunately I cannot speak Korean so communication limits our interaction 😅. I really appreciate you...you’re like the bridge that is tremendous valuable
Your grandpa is very wise “Life is a roller coaster” You have to embrace the bad and good , even as a Muslim, you just have to be willing to be patient. However, it doesn’t just magically come to you, you have to strive for it whether it’s through prayers or giving the needy “Verily, Allah is with the patient.” 2:153
What a beautiful video it was. Really great to see that. Love your Grand pa. tears in my eyes. i also want a beautiful conversation like this with my grand parenst
I am speechless Your grandfather is so humble and wise. I support you from Pakistan. Allah is great and powerful, may Allah protect you and your family
" Religion itself not dangerous" The real danger is the people who use the religion at wrong way, Islam is peace ❤️ + Your grandfather smile its attractive, He smiled all the vedio 😍💞
11:35 Like grandfather, like grandson His blood flows through his stream, you will always see the resemblance ! Gotta sit the same way as his granddad xD
Thank you so much for the video I do enjoyed this conversation with your grandpa, I liked how you did explain yourself in very smooth way, and always give others a chance to say what they think, say my salams to your grandpa please for me from Dubai, and maybe if I visit Korea next year I will pass by to see him, next time try to make a tour plz in his garden and show us his trees, ramadan karem to you brother! Much love! Peace
Mashallah you connected the good things in Korean traditions and history with Islam it's amazing smart way to send your message.. . All muslims so proud of you 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😀😀
Your grand father is so wise. He always think everything positively. I like him a lot. His mind is widely open as an elder. I pray for his health and happiness. May Allah always protect and taking a good care of him.. (from Indonesia)
MashAllah! I absolutely loved your grandpa's thinking and opinions, very open-minded, I wish I had done a video like that with my grandfather (he passed away three years ago). At first he was a little surprised at my family's conversion to Islam, but before passing away he said to my mom that converting was probably the wisest thing our family did, that God was one and only, even though he was a Christian, he learned to respect Islam. Thank you for your videos, I have only discovered your channel today, you are doing a good job portraying and sharing your beliefs, alhamdullillah. Salaam Daoud :)
10:31 Your Grandfather is really sweet please tell him people appreciate him💕I'm interested in seeing his Farm & the trees he planted I really love scenery. If he loves to talk please tell him to give us a tour of his proud farm I'd definitely watch it. He should be proud of his accomplishments because I would be😊
MashaAllah wonderful chat with your grandfather. I love that you are so close with your grandfather and have such a good relationship with him. These family values are so precious these days. You explained Islam so perfectly and concisely mashaAllah
Everytime we pass graveyards we stop anything that is playing in the car and make a dua for the dead, when you go to visit a grave you need to wash yourself and make wudu and also make dua. It is true dua is very powerfull.
There is a hadith also about respecting the graves, it's very bad to step on a grave or sit on it. Graves shall also be protected from children when they do not understand or from animals. The only thing really is to be careful not to ask anything to your ancestors, you should ask God only (for guidance, help or health or whatever) bc only God is the most powerful
Yeah. Remembering ancestors in islamic way is not through idolising them, but through du'a that may Allah SWT grant them with Jannah and included us who are still living with our love ones in Jannah. Thats wht is the meaning of eternal love
Hebat. Benar benar kakek yang hebat.
Super conversation between grandfather and grand son.So pure hearted your grand father i liked him too much.and also ur sence of convincing ur grand father is great.u talked like a preacher of islam. I pray allah bless u in this world and after.amin
MashaAllah. You opened the conversation with your grand pa beautifully. You are such a smart person. Alhamdullilah you are now a part of our family in faith. May Allah guide you and your family. Aamiin
I hope Allah will give hidayah to grandpa someday through you, he is such a good person. It's a sad thing if our beloved person meet their end without faith toward Allah in their heart like what Rasulullah Muhammad felt toward his beloved uncle who always protecting him. Thanks for your hardwork to always introducing Islam to people around you.
grow up child....there isn't a shred of proof of any allah, zilch of anything despite the bullshit/lies.nonsense the hoax of islam shackles weak minds with , and its 'sadly comical' you are so delusions you claim its sad if a sane, decent, thinking person meets their end WITHOUT being controlled, shackled and lied to by the sick hoax of islam lol
@@hahahahahahahanotfunny173 do grow up child lol..respect is NOT a right, it must be earned...and let me assure, NO decent, sane, thinking, intelligent human being who KNOWS islam as I do will EVER respect the sick, cruel hoax of islam ,, its vile obscenities, and how it SHACKLES AND LIES TO weak minds like yours ...get used to it kid, as its those with superior intellect, backbone, morals than you who are leaving sick hoax/cult and in droves
MasyaAllah... you are so lucky to have an openminded and kindhearted grangpa... he also has a positive vibe all around... may Allah SWT Protects him and your family..
And another thing muslims also remember their ancestors by doing dua to Allah every prayers to save our ancestors from hellfire and hope Allah will forgive their sins..For me i always pray to Allah so that he will forgive my great grandparents and ancestors sins..Abu Qatadah, rahimahullah, reported that Allah's Messenger, said: "The best that a man can leave behind after his death are three things: a righteous child who makes du'a for him, an ongoing sadaqah(charity) whose rewards continue to reach him, and a knowledge that continues to be implemented after him."
very important Hadith that shows that islam is the best religion whicg motivate on doing good deeds and rasie good kids thats what make the community better
Just to highlight this, it doesn't have to be only making dua for your ancestors. I lost my father, grandparents and a friend who I remember every day. At the end of every day, I pray to Allah and dedicate all my good deeds to them. On their birthday or death anniversaries, we pray especially for them and do charity for them as a good deed to them. People who die are still looking at us; they need us the most to make up for any deficiency in good deeds they may have to save them from hellfire.
Daud your grandfather smile is a positive reality ( nothing is fake in his smile) he is so sagacious and brilliant A very good human His words are so nice ( cannot even describe) I really adore him He realize the pains of human not related to religion ( his feelings are strong and real) Daud have a blessing that is his grandfather He really respects other thought ( open minded) May he stay strong and happy in his entire life Still my words cannot describe his pleasure personality

It was soo good seeing you with your grandfather. Both of you engaged in a deep constructive discussion which almost made me feel like I was watching a movie scene: a conversation between a grandfather and his grandson. I always longed for such moments with my grandparents but they passed away even before I could have a man-to-man talk. Lot's of love from BD.
