It takes a singular motive to find a girl 11 years dead, watu ameaffect at that age huwa ni maximum ya mmoja na ndio maana the suspect is always very obvious .... Hii story ingekua about dame dingo then maybe but 11 years my guy the math is not mathing .. 11 years are protected even by a stranger, its very unnatural to think of killing her and if it happens suspects utapata ni mtu mmoja very obvious . Its misjustice for this man...wasting 1years for a crime you didn't commit..both his house n his parents get burnt... The government should compensate him..
This guy has suffered and I greatly pity him. It must be difficult for the parents of the slain girl. Here is what I've found from the court portal about this case. A rope with bloodstains was found in this guys house. Also he escaped to mumias, not kiserian as he states here. "The blood group of the stains found on the rope (Ex.1) tallied with that of the deceased. The post mortem report mentions that her neck showed soft tissue bruising which was also over the larynx. The cause of death was head injury, brain hemorrhage, Asphyxia due to strangulation" Also this guy did not bring an alibi to show that he went to work that morning. The driver of the vehicle should have been able to testify and confirm his side of story.

If that was the case court of appeal couldn't acquit him. Then OCS Wambua couldn't tell him to go home . Anyway this story is complicated. To me this guy is 60% guilty.
@@gathuanelson6404 the police botched the investigation big time. The prosecution could not explain how there were two bloody ropes - one allegedly found in the accused's house and the second one found by the boys who discovered the body. Also, the fact that he voluntarily went to the police when he was informed that they were looking for him and the police having recorded a statement, and that statement being consistent with the evidence he gave in court, then the burden of proof lay with the police to disprove that he was given a lift by Githua. The deceased's body was found about 500m from the accused home hence he may have had something to do with it. But the police did not do a thorough job. And yes, he lied that he ran away to Kiserian yet he was all the way in Mumias before he came back to Dagoretti where he was arrested.

Ama ni ukweli huyu jamaa aliua mtu? Mbona anafwatwa na nuksi na mikosi? If it is true that he killed somebody, it is better for him to confess so that the famlily of the victim can forgive him. Otherwise the blood of the deceased will never allow him to lead a peaceful life even if he has spent 17 years in prison. Being remorseful is more important.
