However, I'm excited to know you and know my your books, videos and guidance I can now take my Real Estate business to the next level. I said I wanted to double my business this year, but I realize to get to my goal I need to set a higher goad and push more than ever before. Grant is awesome. Not sure about this bozo they brought in that "pitches on where they're at today in digital, how much money they make, how they can 10x what they do" Come on, that's not part of any any pitch. The complex sale with a Fortune 500-100 company is nothing like that.

Sales is the most unsecured and hardest job for the following reasons. 1- Sales is a number game, if you don't achieve your monthly sales Quotas or simply Targets you will be FIRED. 2- How hard you work, efforts you make, how friendly or honest to your customers / clients are no use and in vain if you don't archive your sales targets. 3- Your Manager is your best buddy as long as you archive or exceed the monthly sales targets, if you under perform or don't archive sales targets, you will be the worst enemy of your manager simply cos your managers job security depends on your sales performance. 4- Your Qualifications or Degree certificates are just a piece of paper in a sales careers, cos if you want to progress in your company (promotion) or secure your job, Sales performance is the ultimate factor for consideration.

Well that is the mindset GC tries to get you into. If you read his books or listen to his audio then you would completely understand why he said 400,000 is low to him. Its called 10x for a reason. Why make just 400,000 when you can make 10x than that!

What's most important in any business is what you're actually selling, as opposed to getting guidance from an infinite amount of sales literature on closing business. I'd be interested to know what he was selling to move from $50k - $406k in yearly earnings. I find it hard to believe he was speaking with C-Level employees at Fortune 500 / Fortune 1000 companies through cold-calling. It's a process to earn the time to speak with these types of people. You don't just get them on the phone and close a deal. You have to earn that time slot by establishing credibility first!

Skills is important, but 99% of the battle is in the Mind, and Belief in yourself is the number 1 and most critical step before any skills. That is why most people will fail at any training or courses, it's because they have not RECONDITIONED their Thought process = belief.
If you've not had the success you want, you're struggling or flat out failing, you can't sell, can't get a job, can't get ahead, then read his book 10X Rule. I've read his book 10X Rule 4 or 5 times. It's one of those books you read over and over because you need to be reminded. When I need a mindset boost, I tune in to his Periscope streams. For the people who don't know, Grant drives a Rolls Royce Ghost and owns a jet airplane. As to his health, he does more in a day that most people probably do in a month. He LIVES what he preaches. And yeah, he's not the most politically correct guy in the world and at times can be pompous or arrogant. But you know what? If you owned $300,000,000+ of real estate, a Ghost and a jet airplane, you might be just a little self confident yourself....just sayin'.

I've done hourly jobs and it got me nowhere. I worked with people I knew I was better than. Sales was appealing because of the uncapped commission. Straight up survival of the fittest. Either you got the skills or you dont.

This is awesome. Great motivational clip. I hope more people come forward. He has it dead-on, advice-wise. Run through 10X first. It will change one's paradigm when reading/listening Sell Or Be Sold. It's all about numbers and knowledge (or being able to accurately predict the next answer to the prospect's question or problem).
