I'm praying to marry into a Christian family like this one day. My family isn't christian and I can't talk about Jesus at home. It's so amazing to listen to this conversation.
I’m 30 years old and in ministry and in the last two to three years, I’ve had those confusing thoughts about my sexuality come into my head. But diving deeper into the Word and sharing those thoughts with my brother and mentor, helped to free me from them. It is also freeing hearing that I’m not alone in that and hearing you all’s testimony of overcoming the same thing.
I love how transparent your sons were with their experiences because I believe a lot of men will be able to relate! And I love that you all refused to shy away from this topic!
Yes. I think homosexual thoughts/desires or even gender confusion is an attack the enemy plays on the majority of people, but most won't admit to it! In today's society, it's worsening. The silence and today's alphabet community "protected class status," combined with ignorance of the spiritual world has caused so many to think they were "born that way" (as if they remember their gender ideologies and sexual preference from the moment they were born, before they had any life experiences or influences! SMH
This was so great to hear. I don't think enough Christians are really recognizing the aggressive attack on grnder identity...especially males. My husband has bern struggling and left our home. He acts very immature and people just dismiss it or overlook the spiritual warfare behind it. I'm still praying and to see this video gives me even more confirmation of what to pray for. I'm going to pray that scripture in 1 Corinthians for my husband...until change comes. Thank you for this!
Also praying.... For strength for you as you stand in the gap. My husband left our home for a year and I prayed and prayed. God softened his heart and he returned home, walking with God. There is nothing that our God can't do
I'm a young mom of 2 and sometimes the thought of knowing that my kids are becoming aware of all the gender crisis is overwhelming for me. Thank you for sharing your experiences and testimonies. I believe that victory is sure and my kids will grow to love and honour God irrespective
My husband died while I still had four sons at home. The older four sons were already grown. I appreciate the truth in this video. I sent this video to all eight of my sons. Prayers appreciated!
8 sons? That's amazing !I can't imagine having 8 children! I have 4 daughter's (now in their 30's ). They're all mother's of my beautiful grandchildren ,but their teen years were tough 😬
I love, love, love this! Momma, you are just beautiful to sit and have this crucial conversation with your grown sons, young men you are all amazing to want to do this with your Momma and share with the world. God bless you all. Very inspirational. Men are losing their masculinity and the role God intended for them because the diabolic is so busy working on them every day and everywhere they go! In television, radio, workplaces, Pornography, infidelity, confusion of sexuality, it's overwhelming. Men don't let Satan take pleasure on your mind and soul! Cover yourselves in the Precious Blood of Jesus, He is waiting for you to come to Him. Jesus is your saving grace.
For a mom of three boys, this conversation is so helpful. They are still 10,7 and 6 but I take our responsibility seriously. They are my ministry. Not perfection but grace, authenticity and intentionality. Gods word is truth and it’s the foundation of our family.
U are blessed, sister. What better foundation can u build from other than from God’s truth?I think the sooner we realise in this fallen world,to expect perfection is futile, that’s why many people struggle because the world view thrust upon us is Perfection in everything.😅Shalom🕊
I can only imagine the hours and hours Lisa and John spent in prayer for God’s intervention in their son’s lives. Because at the end, prayer is the foundation that holds all these wonderful teachings and examples together.
Thank you for this! I’m a mom of 3 sons as well as of a lovely lady. Seeing what’s going on in the US with gender identity and the LGBT community is overwhelming and disheartening to say the least. I pray regularly against this demonic attack.
@@splash2184 NIV Ephesians 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 2 Corinthians 4:1. And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
This is a conversation that is so long overdue. I think alot of young people hear about all these new ideas and they think, "Oh, is that who I am?" But as young people they are still growing and forming, and going thru awkward years. Everyone wants to belong and so they seek where they can feel like they belong and fit. And the enemy uses that moment as quick as he can. That's why parents cannot just ignore and hope their kids never face it. They've got to establish good communication early and then talk about any and everything. Find out what your kids are learning about, even when it's uncomfortable, because it is being talked about amongst their friends. Thank you for opening the convo up!!❤
I love that you pointed out that masculinuty is about Christlike love and leadership. Christ should be our definition of the perfect man. Having said that, it's not as easy for me to not pay attention to the macho image of manhood. Nature teaches (1 Cor. 11:14) certain things, and for me, a lot of feminine things come easily, whereas doing masculine things almost feels suffocating (humanly speaking). Sometimes, I confess, it's more of a matter of survival and blending in that motivates me to lower my voice and restrict my natural mannerisms in public. (I have been ridiculed by children and others.) I wish the world wasn't like this, and that I had that ease that other men had with their own bodies.
This was wonderful! Your boys are so brave to speak about what they have struggled with! Someone will watch this and think, “I have struggled with that too!” This topic is so necessary in a world filled with confusion!
Today is the first day I found your channel. This topic caught my attention and now I have just binge watched 4 of your programs! Lol I love how you and your husband have raised you sons to be moral, Godly men. Praise God!!! 🙌 🙌 🙌
It's beautiful to watch such open-hearted connection between a mother and her sons. I've always had a similar relationship with my mum too. When I came out she embraced me to the best she could. She is a devoted Christian and it was tough for her for the first couple of years. However, rather than changing me she made loving me unconditionally her life lesson. I am ever so grateful to her for showing me God's love in action.
Thank you for having this conversation. My kids have been raised in the faith and their teenagers now. The identity crisis is very serious and the enemy is hard at work. So thank you for giving real biblical solutions for the attack of the enemy.
idk how i stumbled across the channel but so glad i did. i was very blessed by this. also so happy to hear your boys speak so highly of you. lots of ppl cant do the same with their parents but i know thats the fruit of just being awesome leaders in the household
I love what you an your family stand for an all the topics you bring to the table to talk about !! Thanks for keeping it real !! Love from Alaska Julie
This was so good. I have five boys 1 who just turned 18 and two teenagers and two pre-teens. Some are going through a crisis so this really helped, Thank you.
Thank you for this! We're raising 3 boys and 2 girls and this conversation was so encouraging and eye-opening. A good reminder that our struggle is not against flesh and blood and that I need to be in serious prayer for my kids.
I soooo appreciate hearing from your sons! Have loved your grit and Christ-centredness for years, and have kids of my own in their early 20's. Thank you, girlfriend! ♥ 🙏
Amen amen amen amen! This video is everything that I can confirm and affirm being a man and my journey. This would be a group of guys I’d have great conversations with! Thanks for this timely needed video
From a sojourner walking through the desert...thank you..for quenching my thirst with a much needed conversation about these topics from a Christian perspective. Thank you Lisa and thank you my brothers 🙏
I raised two wonderful son's and have 3 great grandsons!! So glad they're grown and are normal!! Many nephews coming up and hopefully will be homeschooled!! You have 4 handsome sons. Love the Bevere's and the message!! From Greer SC ❤️
Omg PLEASE make more videos like this with your sons & about these topics! You don’t know how much I appreciate this. It is so amazing to see strong & bold men of God talking like this. And with a mom like you. I’m taking a lot from you in this as well as the mom of a 2.5 year old boy. Even though he’s tiny right now, I’m taking great encouragement & advice from this. Again, please make more of these. I didn’t want this video to end.
It's very refreshing to hear you all talk about how to help second-generation Christians own their faith, for both parents and children. Really enjoyed this whole clip.
Thank you! This was an amazing share and so needed for moms right now who are facing these cultural issues. I do feel it’s such a spiritual battle we are fighting AND we need to have these conversations with our kids from a place of love. 🙏🏻❤️
This was truly amazing, as a single parent, mother of 3 boys, and 5 girls, I didn’t get to have those talks. Work and life stressors tore me away from this family time, We had family Wednesday and spoke about our week but never this deep. But God, this is very helpful thank you so much for sharing.
Oh my goodness, Lisa, guys, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for this!!! And for being who you are in this crazy, confused but beautiful world of ours. I am a mom of 3 (daughters) ranging from 25 yrs to 19 months and our oldest is expecting our first grand child - a boy. You are just such an inspiration and encouragement to us to stand tall (even though none of us - except my husband, are over 6 feet tall, haha) and to be faithful and not compromise our beliefs or value system. We want to shine forth the love but also the truth of Christ. We love you and bless you all and are praying for you. Yolande, South Africa.
Thank you for taking the time and investing into these talks. Your faith, authenticity, honesty and unity are touching souls, hearts and minds. May the truth set us free. I love watching the different personalities interact and was encouraged and inspired as a ‘lioness’ mom of 3 adult children.
Very true, there are demonic forces, I spoke to my mom about some similar issues like this when I was starting high school . She prayed for me, and I focused on God and it stopped completely.
U are blessed to have a godly mom who prays and listens and u can hv conversations with.I’d like to think I hv this kind of relationship with my own daughter.
Wow, what can I say? It’s just awesome for me to watch a video like this that boys, now young men are bold enough to share their faith. You cannot see this very often about young men bravely share their own relationship with Jesus and how they struggle in life and succeed because they stand with their faith. Thank you for this video! God bless you guys and mom and dad for raising these wonderful christian men!!!
Thank you so much. I really needed to hear such great wisdom and experience from a mother of son and the sons. I am a mom of two young boys and two daughters. God bless you always
I am Deepa watching from India. I watch every episode and I am so excited each time to see your wonderful beautiful family and kudos to raising your 4 boys so well.
