Can I tell you sis, there are so many men who take waiting on God seriously, I know many who I call my friends. Its just that the media bombards us with the other side of the story. Another thing is men express purity differently to women but they exist. Pray to God to be surrounded by them.

@@pamodzichitsonga6901 Interesting! Are they in your church? I can only think of one ministry I've ever been involved in where men out numbered women. In all the others it's been a 2:1 ratio at best!

I'm a 29 year old man who's been waiting on God and waiting until marriage practically my whole life. We are still here and around. I've faced some temptations to pull away and do my own way, cuz sometimes the waiting and longing can be a bit unbearable. But I fear God and I don't want to hurt the person I love so much.

You would be surprised fam, I have run into a good amount of men who are virgins and waiting until marriage to have sex. It's just that mainstream media makes it look like everybody is participating in hookup culture and that is not true.

I just did a bible study on that! Where we have hope, it's the harbinger of our victory! Once you lose hope, you give up, you let go. Good one! Don't lose hope folks. Our Hope rests in our joy, and the Joy of the Lord is our strength! 👍👏

I agree, and we must remember that we are holding onto Christ as our standard and hope, because when we hold onto our own standards and hope, which is very possible, even as a Christian, we will lose our hope and standards easily.

Exactly, you should just tell God in your mind what your looking for in man/woman and wait every now in then go back and check the list. Because the enemy will send an a imitation. Also if you are waiting till marriage , definitely dont settle. Oh yeah and dont be like well we engage so now i can sleep with him /her , because i ve seen circumstances where the people get engaged have sex with partner , and they dont wind up married. So now you got this soul tie, that is extremely hard to get over and these urges you never really had before. I mean think about it all the time and not experience it , its very easy to abstain . But once you get an unholy soul tie , it gonna be so hard its like being a drug addict. So definitely wait for marriage, and ask God for help in getting married and waiting.

I struggled with a lust addiction starting at 3 yrs old until about 45 to various degrees via a curse thru the womb on my father's side, I wish my family would have been more accepting and open to purity and these convos, it was taboo...

I have struggled with list too but once I turned to God and Jesus, the spirit of lust fled.

One of my best friends is entering his 40s and he still has this standard. I am so proud of him. He is a fire ball for God the keeping of your purity really does enhance your connection in relationship with God. It’s a pain, but it’s worth it.

Know as a mother of 2 sons, they look and look for girls who dress appropriate...hard to find. My boys are great looking and it is a rare girl that dresses right to start a relationship off to begin with. Hard to find no drama...hard to find Godly girls these days...pray your 3 walk in His ways.

My girls are 11, 9 n 6 n i worry for the generation of boys these days. This has so much restored my faith that godly boys do exist in this generation. I wish i saw more of these. So true… this is the fruit of God’s favor, their efforts in intentional parenting, strong communication with their sons, grounded in lots of travail in prayer over the years. It doesn’t just happen.

Don't settle fam, stay true to your value and beliefs. I have run into quite a few men who are virgins and waiting for marriage to have sex. You just continue to draw closer to God and ask Him to make you over into His image. And spend much time in prayer and ask God to send you a God fearing man. The Bible says that the more time you spend in prayer with God the more you become like Him and the stronger you get to overcome your sinful nature. Double up, even triple up if you need to during your prayer life. And watch God do a wonderful work in you. God bless you

I was in the same boat except he was in it before our marriage from the age of 7 and when we first got married. It lead to cheating which eventually got revealed. It was a hard time but him seeing how devastating it was on me and our marriage lead to him seeking repentance and deliverance from spirits of lust and perversion brought on him from molestation and exposure at a young age. What was a trial turned into a testimony for our marriage and for him. I'm currently 6 months pregnant with a boy and it's so encouraging to see how open and productive this discussion is, I pray that we carry this in our lives to be open and honest with our child 🙏 prayers for you and your family as well ❤❤

You and your daughter continue to pray and ask God to send her a strong, God fearing man, and ask God to give you guys patience as you wait on Him to answer.

I understand where you're coming from. Believe me. But Jesus didn't come for the healthy saint, He came for the sick in sin...and there are more who need His healing then not. Sadly enough! From my own experience, the closer your relationship gets to Jesus Christ, following His leading, taking up the Truth in scripture, the more healing you will experience 💛 As to the guilt and shame and emptiness, the feeling of haven given your worth away...I just thought about the encounter of Jesus with the Samaritan woman at the well. (John 4:26) She was a foreigner, to that a woman and had quite a bit of sexual impurity in her life....and Jesus approached this broken woman and shared the first time openly that He was the Messiah💛 Can it get more beautiful, more loving and more hopeful. There is no hint of accusation or shaming from Jesus to this woman...He came for such a broken soul and life as she had! .... although of course she needed to turn her life around.... I was like this broken woman and Jesus has absolutely transformed my life!!! It's taken time, but I am not who I was! Be blessed💛 If we walk close to Jesus, leaning on His strength and guidance, we will overcome all sin, death and satan! Because Jesus IS already victor! He loves us so much! 💛🙏

If you confess your sin, God is faithful and just to forgive your sin. 1 John1:9. Don't beat yourself up, we all have sinned. Now, look to God and ask Him to come into your heart and to make you into His image. Increase your prayer life tenfold and study your Bible more. Doing these things bring peace to the soul. I find the more time I spend in prayer and studying the Bible the more peace and comfort comes over me. And before you study the Bible, pray and ask God to send the Holy Spirit to give you discernment and understanding before you study it. Ask God to give you the strength to not look back at your past failures, but ask Him to give you the strength and power and desire to put God first in your life. If you put God first in your life, then He will take care of the rest. trust me fam, you just start to spend more time in prayer and studying the Bible and watch God move in your life in wonderful ways. I am a living witness to that, ever since I gave my heart too and invited God into my life. He has done some wonderful and miraculous things for me and my family.

Nowadays, in this society we must invite God into our hearts to guide us and our children. Everyday lift your kids up to the Lord in the morning and ask Him to protect them and guide them throughout the day. Also dedicate your children to the Lord and ask Him to Use them for His will and purpose. Ask the Lord to put a protective hedge around them everyday, and keep them safe from the Devil. I dedicated my daughter to the Lord when she was a little girl and the Lord has done so many wonderful things in her life and mine. He has provided and protected us in this wicked world, and has done miraculous things for us. He will do the same for you and your kids if you invite Him to come into your hearts and abide with you. God says, behold, I stand at the door and knock, if any man opens it, I will come in and abide with him and he with Me. So open up your hearts to God and ask Him to lead and guide your paths, only God can lead you and your family safely in this world. With little prayer comes little power, but with much prayer comes much power. God bless you.
