However, I had some basic iron rules. 1. I never ever let a male friend pay for my meals, nor do I call them for "help". It's strictly about socializing. 2. I never befriend a man I'm attracted to. 3. If he shows that he caught feelings, I'd disappear. 4. If I got into a relationship, I'd disappear. 5. If he got into a relationship, I'd disappear. I also never ever speak about my marriage prospect to men at work, or even women for that matter because they'll weaponize this information against you. It also taught me the "nice guy" is a mythological creature. Naturally, you strip men of sentimental value because you're observing their mindless behavior. You're not looking to them to be logical, planners, good under pressure, etc. All that is false self-perception. Women just to be more open about their stupidity & take a "non-judgemental" approach. So it makes a lot of men think they're a bunch of things they're not. It is better to be judgmental than to be stupid. Thankfully, this has done wonders for my relationship.
