Shouldn't be a big surprise, because the guy was a former top 10 player. Even though, he had an injury that saw him slipped out of notable rankings, but he definitely found his form in this match. But props to this channel for sharing it, despite being a die hard Rafa fan. Don't often see that in other channels.
Great match. Joachim played really well. Nadal too, often at times really pushing with break chances. Do you have Nadal vs Thomas Johansson 2005 Miami Masters QF? Would love to watch it.
I watched player Joachim Johansson play in Brazil in the Banana Bowl youth tournament, he was 18 years old at the time. He won against Brazilian player Bruno Soares, who still competes in ATP doubles tournaments and in the semifinal he lost to Andy Rodrick. It is unfortunate that he has suffered a lot with injuries in his career, he is an excellent player, I would have liked to have seen him competing more often for titles.
@@BangNguyen-ux4ie si Nadal gana en Clay..que es cancha lenta está perfecto, pero si pierde en cancha rápida está mal????? No entiendo...pareciera que las canchas rápidas de verdad ahora son un delito jajajjajajaj
@@travisbickle5279 well, you have to consider also other things, or not? First, I'm not a Rafa fan, but I don't people like you who just come under a video to insult. You have to consider that Prime Djokovic (2011-2015) had to face Prime Nadal (2010-2013) just for this period, and, after that, in 2014,2015,2016 and 2021 he had to face only NextGen player and an almost 40 years old Roger (I can't consider Murray and Wawrinka two big opponents). Indeed, when the other two were both in good conditions, Djoko didn't win what he won in the period without them. Roger had just two years (2004-2005) without none of the other two. Nadal had to face Roger and Djoko for their whole PRIME! Also I think Novak isn't a complete player as Rafa or especially Roger, and you could see his gaps in the US Open final, where, seeing Medvedev so far from the baseline, he was just going to the net at random! I have also other to say, but for now is enough
@@edoardosantini369 us open final 2021??? please dont forget to write how darcis destroy nadal in wimbl.... or cilic also destroys federer by the us open 2014 when he was in the samee age like novak this year or even 1 year younger i think. THE REST WHAT YOU WRITE IS THE TYPICAL EXECUSE from the fedal fans.....you forget= but for that federer had from 2000-10 not prrime immature novak and from 2000-2007 not ptrime nadal
