HOW NAIROBI BECAME SO RICH
Nairobi was a little-known African city about 50 years ago. All of that changed once the country's government devised plans to develop the city into a thriving metropolis, which now ranks as 1 of the biggest and largest cities in East Africa. The Britam Tower, the G.T.C Office Tower, and the Pinnacle Towers, as well as the G 47 Ugatuzi Tower are all located here.
In this video, we'll take you on a journey through Nairobi's evolution and how it's become a commercial and tourist hotspot unlike any other on the continent. Before we go any further, subscribe to our channel and turn on notifications.
Nairobi, which began as a little town in the 18 90s, is now the throbbing metropolis of East Africa's most industrialized nation. Nairobi is Kenya's largest metropolis, with a population of around 4.4 million people and a 5% yearly growth rate. It's known as the Green City in the sun. The naturally gorgeous metropolis envelops the indigenous Kenyans in a rich mix of culture. Asians, Europeans, and Somalis are among them.
The city is situated in the south central area of the country, at a height of about 1,000 600 and 80 meters, and is about 400 and 80 kilometers northwest of Mombasa. Kenya is the most important port on the Indian Ocean. The Nairobi River and its tributaries flow through into the Indian ocean. Mount Kilimanjaro, Mount Kenya, and the Gong hills, which are located to the southeast, north, and west of the city, respectively, are notable features in the terrain.
