I wouldn’t mind, it’s not like his Mother was an aristocrat; she wasn’t she was an actress (and later a news correspondent) he had an affair with, while the were both married to other people. The only reason she objected to the marriage was based on Emma’s skin colour, nothing else. Those beautiful Grandchildren were better off without her bad influence in their lives. My paternal grandmother mother was so much against my parents relationship that she distanced herself from my parents and us when we were children, a mistake she lived to regret. My parents married without her blessing. We, all six of us, turned out to be the most successful grandchildren she’s ever had. She's not one to hold grudges. But I believe her sons are better off not meeting, much less, bonding with their paternal grandparents who had clearly rejected their mother because of their rabid racism. Such idiocy of aristocrats undercutting their son's black wife is something that must not be allowed to prosper in a decent society. They must never be allowed to even tinker with how the young boys must be raised. At an early age, the sons must be taught to treat people equally and have the courage of their father to stand up for what he believes in. May their love for each other bind them forever in pursuit of happiness and prosperity in their marriage.

Kudos to this couple. To the paternal parents horror, but to their credit, they raised a child, now man, who is an independent thinker who has rejected their racist values and has stood firm on his beliefs, his own moral values and principals. The groom's parents should forget the past and make up for the present and future. They lost the battle already and can't win it. Their time is rolling fast. It's not a big deal. Life is short and children grow fast grandparents will miss the growing phase of these beautiful children. Perhaps grandparents will mature enough to accept this beautiful girl that he chose as his wife and mother to these adorable babies. People make mistakes and realize that it’s their family now at least I hope his parents come to grips with the reality of it. Children should be able to meet their grandparents when little because that will be their memories they should accept their sons choice. As long as he’s happy with his wife and family nothing else should really matter.
