As interesting as that would be it won't happen. Nintendo is pretty strict with their music and celebrity choice. Sebrena is not necessarily family friendly and the line in question is an obvious innuedo. Not to mention the entire song's theme.

I'd like to give a shout out to Slim Thug of Houston Texas 🙏 one of his early songs "still tippen' has the lyrics "blowing on the endo, GameCube Nintendo, five percent tint, so you can't see up in my window." Obviously this was way back in the GameCube era and isn't family friendly 😂 but it's an absolute houston classic ❤

“Switch it Up” or “Switch it up like Nintendo” are lines that could very well be on Nintendo ads. Anyway, this situation goes to show that the Switch is popular to this level were it is basically on mainstream pop.

She likes Mountain Dew, Nintendo, and a gamer, that is pretty cool to see celebrities express these things in a respectful and fun manner, I never heard of Sabrina before, but I already have a positive outlook on her very much and a lot of respect to her, same could be said for any celebrity no matter their gender, it's just fun and relatable and they seem like a general good person.

I love that artists mentions Nintendo in their songs. We had B.o.B’s Nothin’ On You mentioned that a girl got him frozen like a Nintendo 64, right? That’s how it got me flattered and how it got the solution because back in the 90s, Nintendo had a lot of issues with freezing capabilities on the N64 console. I just wished that somehow they could include a cameo of a Nintendo 64 in that line. So, it has been a pretty big deal for music stars to work with Nintendo as they are very popular as of today. They should do this with Sega and Capcom too. Besides, I’m a big fan of music and video games. So why not make a whole song about Mario, Pokémon, Kirby, or Mega Man?

I actually had not heard this song because I don't listen to the radio anymore and I don't use TikTok (just listened to it just to hear the reference), but it's a very not family-friendly song, so very interesting inclusion of the most family-friendly company in it. Publicity is publicity though.

Chris Pratt comes to mind when they mentioned Nintendo only works with genuine Nintendo fans. It's hard to really know if he is or not, but after the "Stomping... KOOPAS" interview, it feels like that might not be the case with the person starring Mario in Nintendo's own movie. Glad a lot of the others they work with are genuine fans!

I just thought the lyrics were a little inappropriate (adult) for younger Nintendo audiences, but I couldn’t see them doing anything to keep it from rising in popularity. I just see Nintendo as a very family-friendly brand and that they would value protecting that. Since it was not directly from them, it’s not really a knock on them that there is a historical association. And the tune is catchy 😊

This sounds like what other big companies do. They don't have concrete deals and sponsors with celebrities, but if they see you using/wearing one of their products they send you free stuff to wear/use in public. From what I understand, fashion companies and sneaker brands do this a lot.
