i look so much at the rim that i take the ball above my head with my right hand trying to not cover my eyes, then i put my guide hand so i look at the rim all the time
I’ve messed around with both and I prefer eyes locked on the rim. I’ve worked on my shot so much at this point that I can usually tell if it’s going to go on or not based on how clean it leaves my hands. I found that when I follow the ball my shot would be more inconsistent and my follow-through wouldn’t be as clean. Or sometimes I do both where my eyes stay locked on the rim and I only check the ball’s flight after it has already left my hands. But eyes on the ball immediately is a no-go for me personally.
your prob 7-9 but after once yuo gain some strength you will be able to just shoot consistently and dont shoot 3s at a young age it messes your shot@@Anonymous_User_3

Noooo the psychopath spins the ball in his hand. Example: the guy in the video is a right handed shooter. But when he is a psychopath he spins the ball in his right hand and shoots with his right hand.
Bro I was player of the year in state of Ohio 2012 and spun the ball in my shooting hand. But I would spin then take 3 dribbles. No spin after the dribble. Also I’m ambidextrous with left hand dominant in everything except basketball so maybe spinning in my right hand is my mind spinning it in my off hand🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️
He spun the ball on his right hand here’s a tip for y’all DONT SPIN THE BALL ik a lot of people do it but some coaches don’t like it when you do it. But if your coach is fine with you spinning it. Please don’t spin it on the right spin it on the left.

He’ll naaaa…1st observation eyes both times fly up -& flicker almost a slow motion/stare down-maybe less the 1st time & circle spins-same amount, but switching the direction in the pre-shot-? Otherwise, bro u look @ the ball? Really?
Sorry/unless it’s in the spin & switching direction otherwise..we see u both x’s (times)directly involved in a starring contest with ur ball? just at the most important basic peck of release why do u look? Bro, really..fix-that & probably never miss again? Otherwise, I’ve never heard of looking, is this it? Meaning I find the shot & rim b4 even entering into any other pre-trip..flip, switch, bounce, whatever? But look only one last time to verify it’s still where my mind has it & then bounce, 2, 3, 4, as raised into release/last -literal..mills..sec..check-bk., it’s still where I left it…5, bounce, good & all in one fluid motion release watch it go in, or hit the rim..I immediately establish why I missed & focus quickly now on, only focusing on adjusting-the reason-for maybe slightly hitting bk. left Side of the rim, caused a miss Pushed/slightly off left, to much strength was the reason it hit the bk. Left side..& ensure to correct that & repeat until u miss again..idk? Bro id love-to know-if its looking at backboard, id say, well the camera-seems-to show u quickly look 🔝 up at the ball right b4 u release..both times? Just meaning if ur looking at anything else…bro content? U think I can 100% say what ur looking at head on? Help us out/me out?
nah, my free throw routine lasts just 2 seconds, it is just 4 dribbles, and then i shoot if i spend more time on shooting routine, i get unconcentrated, and miss, but if i barely spend time on a shooting routine, i i don't get nervous, and get a point... i average 20 free throws/game
