How NOT to catch Bass in 55 degree water 

It just did NOT happen today!
Unbelievably windy conditions ending up tormenting my little 14 foot flat bottom boat all over the lake. A darn tsunami is what it felt like LOL. Bass fishing today was not my best choice ever but I still did catch some fish. Nothing crazy at all in terms of size but it still was better than just sitting at home.
Don't do what I did! Apparently throwing shallow crankbaits in shallow cover when the water is in the mid-50's isn't the way to catch bass nice bass right now in Iowa. It was the only way I could get bit so I figured it had to be the ticket. Now I know at least!
