They sold it to get the money for that screw they put in the tailgate.

second part half way through is better... still learning ...

well they can disassemble the whole truck if that's the goal. most thieves are inept at using tools if they cary anything ...case in point is the the only known use of a screwdriver is as a crowbar... proper tool use requires time

@@AndreiDoroftei I like the idea that you have. Wanna try it tho in time with opening and closing tailgate the plastic piece that the bolt went through will be stripped. And yet it still will deter theives. Also I have a 2024 Tacoma and I feel it doesn’t have the same set up as previous tacomas.

@@suzay21 the bolt does nothing as far as wear , it just prevents it from coming off. stealth lock. I have a 23 tacoma and as far as I can see there is nothing out there yet that a thief cannot see and remove quickly. not sure on the 24
