How **NOT** to Replace the Tailgate Gas Struts on a Mitsubishi Colt Ralliart 

The tailgate struts in my Mitsubishi Colt Ralliart were getting a little soggy so I wanted to replace them. I scored some cheap OEM ones on EBay and had a go at installing them. The workshop manual was not much help.
