I just quit smoking too this is even more of a reason to not smoke. Each cigarette destroys around 250mg of vitamin C i think and vitamim C is essential for collagen productiom and collagen is essential for tendon strength.

Curious what that evidence actually is. Seems like lifting with straps would be far more dangerous than using a mixed grip as far as prime-mover strength outrunning tendon strength. Or is it a matter of the anatomy of a supinated grip? (I.e., would double supinated grip be doibly bad?)
