@@Olivertheolive it was actually banned almost solely for having Mold Breaker, meaning the options to deal with it were limited (learns Swords Dance, so Unaware won't work). In combination with Tera raising attack by one stage and a speed boosting Grass STAB, it's kinda busted.
Rock one is good in sand teams probably (also 100 100 rock stab is good) Grass probably kinda good because it can use items Water best one for follow me Fire best for offense
Fire mask: Resist Fairy and treathen Steel types Water mask: ultra resist ground and Rock and treathen Fire types Grass mask: more grass stab offense and speed Rock Mask: Treathen Flying types and fire types
@@fabiomariosa considering how adorable Ogerpon is, how catching her is guaranteed, and I get to enjoy raining Arceus's Judgement down on the so called "Loyal" Three, yeah it is worth it, in my opinion.
Advised to give it a adamant mint as special attack isn't useful for its move pool. That and all masks don't raise special attack while it's static lonely nature lowers defense
I just think its funny that if you mess with the games code and give them a tera type other than the ones granted by their masks, the crown of that type will just... hover in front of their face
For grass I’m gonna go with leaf blade swords dance setup but the fire and grass just makes it so strong because neutral to water and fire but waters gonna be the best because of water absorb and only weak to poison and bug bug pretty much
Love how they Nerfed Zacian, but didnt think oh hey, a free +1 attack, 2x Stab and I think a 10 or 20% boost in to Ivy Cudgel from the masks is completely fine
So I'm new, is this possible to have one that switches masks, or is it one and done like 3 different creatures? I haven't played any Pokémon since soul silver and pearl, and now I am better late than never.
base ogerpon probably the best... terra grass boost its stab to x2, get a defiant boost + speed boost.. raising defenses are kinda meh... raising attack is good but i can do that with defiant and get a speed boost... which i would need to outspeed paradox mons... the secondary typings are interesting.. grass/fire probably the best overall both offensive and defensive synergy.. cover weaknesses from ice, bug, fire, ground, and water... and can offensively hit water, ground, rock, steel, ice, grass and bug for super effective.. water/grass already 4x resist water moves so water absorb not as useful as an ability... defensively remove both water weakness to electric and grass, and remove grass weakness to fire and ice.. offensively, both types hit rock and ground for super effective so thats overlap, can now hit fire types and water types supereffectively... grass/rock is kinda meh... you hit alot of things for supereffective.. and have a base 100 rock stab move with 0 drawbacks to accuracy... so thats great.. study is a wasted ability tho...
@@th3_ph4ntomreborn31playin in ou with rock today despite the meta not settling yet it definetly seems really solid in sand teams, you can realistically get its atk def and spdef up to 350+ each from tera sand and just how high its attack is, pair it with seeds/stomping/play rough spikey shield and horn leech and its just really strong overall especially late game
Like the fire mask has a meh ability, but being able to raise attack is really good and can be very good on sun teams. Water mask is good for rain teams. Rock mask is good for a glass cannon build and could increase viability of sand teams
So every Pokémon that terastallize in the base game look absolutely terrible design wise yet the one Pokémon in dlc actually looks good. I swear I hate this game, sword and shield was better imo
The dlc was amazing but kinda short Hated Carmine but loved Kieran and felt bad that he had a sister like that Ogerpon is adorable and should be both protected and feared at the same time and the loyal three were absolute trash and should burn in hell fir eternity
