In terms of Rom and Ram, I personally think Ram is slightly older mentally than Rom is, despite being childish. I get the age gaps for Nepgear and Neptune, but what exactly was the point in that 10 year gap in Victory? Neptune's mental age can't actually be 13-14. She's clearly shown to have a mature and clever side hidden behind her normal personality. Being Lazy and energetic has nothing to do with age. I don't know if you knew this or mentioned it since I just jumped to were you display the ages, but the Average height for adult female in Japan is 158cm, Noire is exactly average. So despite Blanc's and Neptune's heights, they could be physically 15-16 for all we know.

Blanc is not only "legal"; but I've heard that she's actually the OLDEST of the CPUs! Vert is the youngest of them. So in a way, this reminds me of "NekoPara", whereby Azuki -- who is the smallest of the Nekos as well as the one with the most childlike figure -- is actually the OLDEST of the Catgirls; while Coconut -- who is the tallest of the Nekos and has the most lady-like figure -- is actually the YOUNGEST. In a way, it WOULD make sense for Blanc to be the oldest of the CPUs; as she's a Gamindustri representative of Nintendo consoles. In real life, Nintendo has been in the gaming console industry the longest. Then, the early 1990's brought us the Sega Genesis (which Neptune and Planeptune represent); then in the mid-90's Sony came out with its PlayStation (which Noire and Lastation represent); and then after that, Microsoft came out with its Xbox (which Vert and Leanbox represent). As for Panasonic (3DO) and Atari (the Jaguar and the Lynx), those weren't any serious threats to Nintendo's dominance in the console market.

You are considering that Life expectancy in gamindustri is the same as Japan which could be completely wrong. You are also considering the girls cup size and height have a heavy weight on their age when this might not be the case since some girls develop faster than others The only thing kind of correct is their mental age since this one has been seen during all the games Physical age are all guesses (Peashy an exception) And their total time alive is also mostly based on the 80+ years average life expectancy that we don't know if even applies to Gameindustri (except Peashy) I consider this video was beautifully crafted and well written. If my memory does not fail, Superdimension CPUs are thousands of years, since they said they have been battling in celestia over a thousand years for the console war. Also maybe, just maybe, agein in Gamindustry is not like our world, we have seen compa and IF, along with the makers, to been arround and keep their appearences much likely the same. so maybe, in Gamindustry world, normal people can live up to 200 years as a normal lifetime or maybe even more, but this can also be false since Vert and Rei worry about their age appearence beign more than 20 and close to 30 for Rei(Im sure Rei is 29 years old phisically). Also, peashy must be more than 15 years right now, since in megadimension, even if she does not appear, her age must be arround 20/25+, now that Hyperdimension and Ultradimension time passing has been aligned after the events of Victory. With that said, im guessing that, from MK2/RE2 to Victory/RE3, 10 years have pass, and from Victory/RE3 to Megadimension, i guess it would be much likely the same, 10 years or maybe even 15 years, since we heard from the both Histoires that the portal between Hyperdimension and Ultradimension does not look like closing it any time soon, but when the events of Megadimension happen, the portal is already close. Also this would also explain why events like the Deity of Sin and Rei rampage are told like "Old Storys", hell they dont even call Rei for her name, she is just "Tari's CPU". Megadimension intro say something like this: Gamindustry, a world that have faces problems in the PAST like the Deity of Sin and the ancient CPU of Tari, this sounds like grandpa storys to me, but again, this is just me guessing, a fan who dedicated many hours to Nep games.

I have to disagree on some of the mental ages. Physical ages and actual ages seem spot on. Neptune definitely shows signs of a higher mental age and maturity when faced with actual important situations (I know some may not count this ending, but conquest end Neptune lecturing Nepgear, for example). Her usual sillyness doesn't indicate everything about her. In fact, I could argue she has a higher mental age than Blanc or Noire by not letting trivial things phase her and joke about it, unlike Blanc (chest size) or Noire (afraid of people judging her for cosplaying, lonely heart thing). You also see the other CPUs follow Neptune's lead when she is in HDD. That indicates they trust her judgement, which means they respect her mental age... *when* Neptune is serious, anyway.

you forgot one major thing in the fact that all of the hyperdimension and superdimension CPUs were born as CPUs - as explained in neptunia/re;birth 1 and victory/re;birth 3 - so everyone of the CPUs from those two dimensions are actually zero in physical age

I think all of them are older than what they look like, because of blanc saying she should've grown more before becoming a cpu.

My conclusion is... The CPUs are old enough to be *RESPECTED!!!*

In HDN (PS3), several characters mention being millions of years old. Most of that time was spent in Celestia, with each CPU's time on the continents being short enough that they hadn't yet consolidated their rule over the humans there. These are the oldest versions in the series, but the CPUs of the other dimensions are a lot younger.

Interesting analysis and the physical ages you arrived at are also quite close to the ones I perceived them at. Although there are some extra thoughts that I wanna add. The fact that Uzume put so much emphasis on the now old man that she met when he was a boy makes me think that it wasn't just because he never forgot about her, but because it's a miracle of sorts that he's still alive. That gave me the impression that he's probably at a really old age, probably even close to a hundred years old. Doesn't change things a whole lot but that was my impression. The second thing is the amount of time that probably passed between Victory and VII. The point of evidence is big Nep. At the end of Victory, Croire was captured by that dimension's Neptune, and she thought at first that it was the Neptune that she knew from the rest of the game, that means that big Nep was 12 or 13 years old at that moment, by VII she seems to be around her late teens so 17-19, she looks 19 in my opinion. So 5 to 7 years is the time that most likely passed between both games.

I always appreciate lore disscusions for neptunia as i feel it is a unappreciated part of loving the series (the world as a whole is criminally under explored in game) but i dont quite buy some of these ages. The CPU's of the main dimension are not made but born as to how this works we dont know. I always figured that the Main CPUs of the main dimensions are at their physical peak because it just makes since for them to reach the spot where they stop growing at their physical best (since it seems the candidates still grow as they are not yet CPUs). So i always figured that this is how they would look at around the age of 19-21 and that neptune and blanc are just underdeveloped. Just because adult neptune exists does not mean that the Neptune we know would grow to that size as they are both the "Same" and not at the same time as they are from different dimensions and any number of things could change. This is all just makes the most sense to me.

Well Black Heart said in Rebirth 1 "We've been fighting for hundreds of years, why stop now", so that leads me to believe that Noire, Blanc, Neptune and Vert are One Thousand plus years old, I've always seen Nepgear and Uni as teenagers and Rom, Ram and Peashy are definitely little girls, Plutia and the Ultradimension Noire, Blanc and Vert = ?, by the way, I said this before watching the video whoops.

Good video, I’d say your guesses are all fairly accurate within a year or 2 in most cases. I do feel the need to point out that when you have the graphics for lifetime of the 4 CPUs in Hyperdimension at around 25 minutes you say less than 75 years(75). It was bugging me a bit so I thought I’d point it out. Otherwise good video and I look forward to any you make in the future. I’ll keep watching (though probably not commenting as I just don’t like leaving comments on any videos).

It can really confuse people sometimes when they remember that Blanc is the oldest of the 4 Goddess and Vert is the youngest. One of the jokes in Neptunia MKV with Blanc giving the babies breast milk is due to Blanc being the oldest.

I actually came up with a theory a few months ago. So we know that CPUs stop aging once they have shares. If they have no shares, their immortality is gone (remember how this was a concern to Vert, as she would start aging again). So with this info, I came to this conclusion: >Blanc is the oldest. Her physical appearance is the youngest, meaning she stopped aging first. Of the four big companies, Nintendo definitely got a huge amount of shares first. >Neptune is next. She doesn't look too much older than Blanc, which fits in line with SEGA and Nintendo's rivalry. SEGA grew in popularity thanks to the Mega Drive, which was only a few years after the NES/Famicom. >Noire is up. Sony didn't come into play until after the SNES. Noire looks to be in her late teens, which would make sense (assuming all 4 CPUs were born at the same time). >Vert is last. Microsoft didn't release the Xbox until 2001. Because of this, Vert had the most time to let her body mature and develop.

I believe they are the same age as the Console's they represent. the Sega Neptune was created in 1995 but was canceled Neptune would be 23 years old. The X-Box was created in 2001 so this year Vert would be 17. Nintindo's home console was created in 1983 so Blanc would be 35. The Playstation was created in 1998 so Noir is 20 years old this year. So the oldest is Blanc and the youngest is Vert

I’ve only really thought about how old they where in comparison to each other as blanc being born first then Neptune third Noire then finally Vert though that’s what I’ve always thought with the clues we’ve been given in each game. I made this comment before I watched the video.

This is a really interesting topic that I've asked myself ever since I found out about this series and its (ahem) *fanservice* . And this is a pretty comprehensive video about the CPU's possible ages! _So does this mean lewding the Lowee twins and Blanc will still land people in the jail?_

Just another thing I have to say of why your calculations are so incredibly off, and yes I am using real-world biology, but so are you (like adopting the general old age in Japan system). 1. Height (aside from the fact everyone doesn't grows into the same height). I get it, you're a guy. You are used to your own biology. However, women have a different type of biology, and we tend to peak sooner in things then guys do. Including growth spurts. Women already have their final growth spurt, around 14 years old! Sure, we often still grow a little bit, but our height is never that far off of our mid-teen height as adults (if there's no growth syndrome or such). Determining an girl's age, off of her height? The character most likely is already close to her height as an adult, so everyone who seems to be at least around their mid-teens are falsely judged at that alone. There's not much growth left, so trying to spot different ages in their height in cases such as Nepgear, Uni and Noire is absolute bull. 2. What the physical attribute revealing their age is, however is their face. It's not exactly as precise, but again, female biology. Look at men like yourself, often things like facial structure, and the handsomeness of it, etc, seems to have it's peak at the age of 40. With women, however, this is 30. Often, lots of things like breast growth have already stopped with women around their early 20s, so judging at breast size (for adult characters) would also be bull. The face, however, is something that often showcases how far a woman is in their growth . Between 20 and 30, it's when a woman sheds her final remains of childhood and truly reaches the final stage of adulthood. So pay attention more to their faces, especially the eyes, and cheeks. There is definitely some differences between cheeks and eyes of some of the women in the Nepunia series. Neptune's cheeks for example, seem rounder then Vert's, as often around a woman's final peak (20 to 30), she will have shed the babyfat in her face. Also, the eyes, the rounder and bigger the eyes of a woman, the younger she is. Eyes don't really grow over the years, it's the face that does. If the eyes look rather large compared to the rest of her face, then she's likely pre-20. Sure, the Neptunia characters already have big eyes, but compare the faces of Purple Heart and Nepgear. Nepgear's eyes seem slightly more large in comparison to her face, where as Purple Heart's face seems slightly more well-balanced, despite the fact they have around the same width of eyes. It's a VERY little detail, I know. But it's slightly more accurate then height guessing. 3. The CPU's ACTUAL ages. Whilst some characters don't display it as obviously as others, I have managed to make a guess about Blanc, Nepgear and BOTH Neptune's (it's actually rather important to consider, when it comes to Nepgear). Vert, does clearly seem to be in her 20s, that is obvious. Which is where Adult Neptune comes to play. Didn't you think she was just a little too comfortable in her few scenes with Vert? Like asking to touch her breasts? Whilst Neptune would do the same, she doesn't jumps to it with the same ease as Adult Neptune did (Vert was a complete stranger). Also, consider the biological things I pointed out. She is clearly past her mid-teens, but hasn't reached her 30s. Her VA also mentioned Neptune acts like a high school teenager, and Adult Neptune does seem to share the childishness with Neptune (though to a lesser extent), so she's slightly older then a high school teen. Now look back at the scene with Vert, and don't you think their interaction is rather easy? In the sense people of the same age tend to be comfortable around each other. Adult Neptune, is in her early to mid 20s. There's very little doubt about it. Now, look at Blanc and Neptune. Physically, they seem to be around the same age. Neptune and Adult Neptune clearly have some height-difference, and some of the game commentary actually seems to betray their ages. Like Abnes, she said Neptune didn't really look like a teen. Where as Blanc, said she wanted to wait a little longer. Not much longer, just a little. What comes before being a teen? Pre-teen. Since Neptune already experienced a very slight breast-growth and whilst the age for breast growth definitely varies, it often does seem to start around 12-13. So I guess they are both 13, too young to truly be considered teens, but too old to be considered small children. Which is why Blanc's commentary makes even more sense. She (in Ultradimension) took the CPU memory, just a little before puberty would change her body. Which would explain Blanc's bitterness even more. She had already been in the earliest stages of puberty, and she was angry at the fact she didn't gave herself the chance to wait until she would visibly show that. Now, onto Nepgear. Nepgear is 18? That's ridiculous. Sorry, but she isn't legal. Alright, so if Neptune was at the start of puberty, and Adult Neptune already kinda reached the end of it... For 18, Nepgear needs to be physically closer to Adult Neptune. But their height clearly shows a bit more difference, and Nepgear's body and face look to be in the MIDDLE of the Neptunes. So Nepgear must have recently finished her final growth spurt (leaving some room for a tiny bit more growth), and like I said, Neptune is at the start of puberty where-as Adult Neptune is at the end. So Nepgear herself, is at the middle of puberty, probably around 16. Grown enough to see and be apart of scary things (horror movie age system, anyone?), but clearly not near her 20s.

Height and behavior don't factor in to age. There is a difference between how a kid and a short adult look. That goes for most of the Neptunia cast. All if them are the same age in any form. They don't get older just because they get taller. If that was the case Uni would become younger. As far as Uni goes if Nepgear is legal I say Uni is. As for Neptune,Plutia and Blanc they may be short but they don't look like kids to me. Hell the same could be said about Nepgear and Uni. They are what are called petites. Whom exist in real life you know. So it makes perfect sense to me that they are legal. Which is how I always knew that. Which is all I needed to know.😏

There's a chance that the CPUs from Lowee are actually younger since the CPUs in Lowee can apparently retire of their own free will according to a entry on Lowee. Also, while you do admit,84 probably isn't an exact number, we gotta remember that he had to be at least a couple years old to insult her in the first place and considering he was still up and about enough to run into her, I'd peg him to be a little younger, but maybe he's just a really energetic old man. Anyways, I enjoyed the video, it gave me something to think about while I was cutting potatoes for Thanksgiving.

Well as painter (which learns anatomy) and otaku for long time i think Rom and Ram - something like 12 (they have... well... girlish lines, i mean - hips and waist and even chest like early teenage girls), also i disagree with age of Nepgear - she is very dependent on her older sister and her acting are like smart child so she is may be little older than Rom and Ram. Aging Neptune at around 13-14 makes sense, cause throughout the series characters mistake Nepgear as the older sister based on how they look.

tbh Blanc reminds me a lot of my sister because she is also very short but already 27. I would guess Blanc's physical age at around 16 - 19. While she is very short she doesn't look very child-like.

I would actually assume Rei's physical age to be over 30 considering apparently Japan considers that to be the point where old man/lady jokes become common. Its VERY common for characters around that age to be the butt of old man/hag jokes at only 30+.
