What an amazing story and a wonderful place to have fresh air and feel like you own the universe. What a privilege to see this even on video it would be so wonderful . wonderful place what I would give to live on that ranch
Love your channel! I’m doing seasonal work in the Yellowstone area and had never heard of this place! Will def be checking it out next! Thanks for sharing!
Can you talk about the Chaco Canyon National Parks and the difficulty that has existed in recognizing sacred spaces and how the park expression of reverenc, history, works alongside research & tourism
I love the video as always!! Is there any chance you can make a video on Acadia National Park and maybe why there’s so few east coast national parks? Or just the greatness and crazy history of Acadia!
And it would further expand Cameron’s previous video on Rockefeller (Teton) and illustrate his role in the development of other park (Acadia, Smoky, etc.)
Reservations are the worst thing to EVER happen to the National Parks! 😡 They killed the spontinaity and flexibility of the traditional American road trip... You're experience is a case in point.
see Blackwell School in Marfa,Texas. as newest add to Us park system. on big ranches and history. see Brite Ranch, and Villias raid there killed postmaster, Possie rode after and kilt dozen Mexicans over border. Rangers cleared out an area/community with one survivor. Big Bend lady with cougar and rode trails and byways here. oh an sumptin bout them lights...
Audio on this video is terrible as well. All great until you have to mention the Indians in such a way. Give them some dignity, they fought us for 400 years and eventually lost. It’s not poor pitiful them, it’s the way of history.
When I was coming to Montana for University we didnt have really any time to stop anywhere fun along the way. This was the one place we stopped, and tho we only stayed and talked with a ranger for about 15 minutes and didnt really xplore too too much Super cool place, and Im very glad that it provided me with my first imprint of how history can be preserved in Montana. Something that I feel is somewhat lacking in the part of the state I find myself in now, as the suburban sprawl grows ever wider and consumes more and more
It was a really cool area and part of the state to explore. I wanted this trip to have more of a historical focus and SW Montana certainly delivered! Glad you could stop here as well and hopefully for longer next time!
