His impact on the game is unquestionable though, he's one of the true pioneers of "modern" play and is one of the most important players of all time. I have a top 10 sort of, I have more of a tier list but I'll number it out for the sake of this reply. I usually have trouble after 7, those ones vary with any list I make. imo my top 4 can all reasonably be #1. My list: Kareem MJ Bill Russell Wilt Chamberlain Magic Johnson Kobe LeBron Larry Bird Shaq Tim Duncan Other names: Hakeem, Oscar Robertson I could see Elgin being top 20 if not 15, I'm interested to see why you rank him so high?
