I didn’t know about pro rocket league players until this week. I’ve been binging just amazed at how great these guys are at the game. Just outrageous stuff. Totally changed my whole view on the fun and seemingly chaotic game.

And since it's usually such a nice community, that trash talking got in their heads baaadd. And the fact that he came in delivered a whooping while getting boo's was just hilarious. The Demo match had me laughing.

I suppose that demolitions strategy is strongly underrated in modern playstyles. There are million ways when getting enemy off the game is super useful for team ball handling

Honestly Comm is a genius by making himself a villian, not only does it make fans louder about the support for their team but it also gives the tourneys a story which drives more engagement. Just rooting for your fav team is cool and all, but when theres a villian in the scene it makes everything feel that much more important. Smash melee had hungrybox hated for his slow calculated style of play in vast contradiction to melee's very fast and aggressive play. Idk much anout rocket league esports but from the lil i saw in this vid it seems like it is or at least was a very slow and calculated game, and comm turning that on its head and being aggressive with 20 demos, i have to compliment him

Very well done video. Haven't played rocket league in forever but I love when people change the game by being non traditional. His wattson shifted apex in the pros to by breaking the mold n constantly pushing fights when it's an unwritten rule to wait to fight

This is the same concept as "faces" and "heels" in WWE and honestly I respect him making a choice to be a renowned heel in RL. That 20 demo game has got to be the most savage work I've ever seen. Incredible.

This is what it is. Ever played against a guy who spammed what a saved and no matter what you did, You still came up short and he was spamming “What a Save!” After every goal. That’s what Comm did. The feeling of humiliation and a agonizing defeat.

cOmM hAs nO sKiLl this guy is a pro and managed to not be horribly out of position while racking up 20 demos. Something like that is literally impossible in such high levels of rocket league UNLESS you're a skilled player

If he doesn't shake hands/compliment the team after the match, that's when he's a proper child. Otherwise it's pretty refreshing seeing some trash-talk go down, good way to get inside the opponent's head. He's looking like the Tony G of Rocket League haha. And that match with the demos was hilarious, nothing wrong with that.

He knows what the competition doesn't like and give them that playstyle, the emotions of the game have a big impact. He backs it up with skill and he uses boos as a motivation factor to perform. ppl gonna hate but he has a good recipe for wins.

Demos are part of the game, if you cant dodge it or handle it, it means that you are just not good enough. If the main reason for NRG to lose is just demos, man if they NEED to improve their playstyle. GGs to Comm using a game mechanic at a professional level. Kudos to him.

I remember first seeing comm when he first started showmatching on jonnybois channel. He went on a sick winstreak and showed up in the ecto-1 all the time.

That was some petty crap on Comm's part, and I love it 🤣

Having a "Villain" is very entertaining from a viewer perspective, Comm doesn't go too far with it and he embraces the role very well. And if you've ever watched his streams he's a really chill and positive guy, completely different from his LAN persona.

Demos are an intended part of the game, use them all you want. If you dodge it right, the player is out of position. If you can't dodge, then the other player has a lot of skill. His amount of demos against pros shows how skilled he truly is, and I love it.

Heel and Face characters is what the pro RL scene needs.

Comm is literally that kind of player why i only queue with friends and have ingame chat switches to team only.

Honestly this feels inevitable from a game with such young esports pros. Not everyone is going to be making the most mature decisions and someone was bound to annoy some large portion of RL at a LAN eventually

I feel like he's a really nice person in real life, just playing the villain on stage cuz he enjoys it. He's just having toxic fun, but i dont think he will ever harass a player in private
