This. He can fly,just not the way you think he can. Prime probably has a vertical jump of up to 300 feet. He clearly knew taking on all of them on(Shockwave,Soundwave,Shatter,Starscream and Dropkick included) was near impossible,his main goal was to distract them long enough for his autobots to leave orbit and escape.
My thought is the tower that support the platform their were standing on explode. Cause the platform to fall alongside every bots their. And during that time, Optimus seize the chance and escape the Decepticon
@@novustalks7525 No it is a reboot in the bumblebee movie bee arrived in 1987 or some like that, in the michael bay he arrived in world war 2 but i think he arrived in 2007.
I think its not bc in bee movie prime meets bumblebee at earth but still in cybertronian forms. And in tf1 optimus and others arrived at earth in protoforms.
Optimus Prime does not run in any battles especially when he knew that he still has allies/friends left behind. Maybe he fought all the decepticons while flying with the help of other autobots
That's as far as Bumblebee saw before his pod was too far. Anything could've happened afterward. Let's also not just focus on what's inside the box (or the scene has shown to us). He could've roughed up a bunch of guys while heading for a single direction to escape. The direction that is away from Soundwave. There could've been other Autobots who were left behind that arrived and helped him escape. Maybe he was actually captured then, but he was rescued by remaining Autobots later. Or he escaped captivity on his own. The metal ground conveniently broke and dropped them all down, allowing Optimus to escape. 🤣

Prime could have killed them all! Have you not seen his rampage against an army in dark of the moon? Or when he killed the decepticons that made infernocus? Edit: He killed the infernocons in one slash!
But both universe are connected... As bumblebee movie is prequel of TF 1, we got to know about sector 7 bumblebee time span on earth and much more things..... So i guess, prime can fly

No hes sadly not able to fly in the bee movie but you can also take into consideration that its prime and he probably fought to his limit and then retreated
I think your right about the flight part because if you see transformers rise of the beasts Noah meets Autobots scene Optimus prime transformation in slow motion you can see a jet pack transforming out of his back
this is a different universe like in tfp prime couldn't fly before his upgrade because in s1 ep 5 when megs fly's to stop arcee bee and bulkhead why wouldn't he fly to stop megs and prime couldn't fly in tf 1 and most of 2 until his upgrade and in tf3 he needed a jet pack to fly but in tf4 he could fly cause he scanned a new truck and got new upgrades but he never flew in the movie until after he got the sword of judgment so how the sword changed his forearms to lift the sword it most likely also upgraded the legs and if he could fly be that why didn't he use it when he was fighting galvatron. so most likely bumblebee's movie prime mostly fought off enough deception's to escape and he also could have used a flash gunade to blind the others including dropkick and shatter to escape
Prime escaping cybertron actually makes since cause since the escape pods are destroyed and how he got to earth it took him a lot of time to get to earth
i just noticed from the design of optimus prime from the bee movie is that there's a jetpack-like thingy on the back of his robot. that maybe have transformed and made him fly away from all the decepticons surrounding him.
Why optimus prime have a jetpack from transformer dark of the moon and Why optimus prime don't need jetpack to fly from transformer age of extinction ???

I believe you since the foot is capable flying and the transformers one when he arrived earth back with the others it clearly means that his rocket foot was broken or in cold down since he use it to travel
The reason the war of cybertron happened:first deceptions were auto bots then they had a greed for power then every one choose there figured over power (I think)
i have a theory where the optimus prime in transformer 1 2 and 3 is Orion Pax that is in full control, but in AOE and TLK when optimus prime/orion pax got his knight form optimus PRIME that fought in the cybertronian war got his memories and skill when he got the sword of judgement, consirder it that optimus prime attacks more strategic and more smooth in TLK and AOE
i bet he fought hard but was captured and then he was freed by any other autobots who stayed behind on cybertron and then escaped with an other escape pod on a different location just after first batch of pods took off ....................................................or he summoned metroplex or omega supreme to assist his escape.
If optimis can fly why in transformers revenge of the fallen and dark of the moon he needs gear to fly like parts from Jetfire and the trailer with his fly gear
The upgrades has stronger weapons, thats why But he actually upgrades a bit when pulling the knight sword, maybe the upgrades add a rocket in his feet to fly
I agree with theorymus since Michael B didn’t direct this movie. Everything in the bayverse left how can literally everyone agrees that transformers literally had to restart, because Michael B didn’t have the money nor the the voice actors to make another movie
And how did they track cliff jumper that time if there are no autobot left in the cybertron in the war or i should suggest that maybe 🤔 thers a prison autobot that they want information about all the autobot
The way I think he escaped is he had a weapons beside his riffle cause in Rotb he has a sword axe and cannon also Optimus could’ve killed one or two cons and then use their weapons against their own team oh yeah and Optimus had a cybertronian a veichle

And in TF-5, when optimus returns to cybertron, you can see whole planet was destroyed and quintessa mentioned that last battle for cause of the planet... Inshort, battle was the last thing which happened on Cybertron and even sentinel mentions that battle
There's so much things that happened during transformers 2007 until TLK. And trapped or "need to fly" situation isn't just happened once during those movies. Then why? Why it needs 3 movies to proof that Optimus can actually fly without Jetfire's components?
Prime could fly by himself only after getting the knight upgrade. And if Prime could fly, why didn’t he fly off the launch pad? Why did he said he need his trailer to fly in dotm?
And ther are 7 autobots ascape from the ascape pod and 4 autobot was in the transformer rise of the beast and i see rachet that time when they escape from the decepticon might be rachet dead

This films are different universes, and the forty film is not so good like the trilogy (i mean 1, 2 & 3 parts), so... think is he (Optimus prime in Bumblebee movie) can fly is very far-fetched, cause... well, why cliffjumper didn't flyaway from his enemy? Or why Bumblebee doesn't fly in movie? Maybe we got true answers in Rise of the Beast, but THAT, naah... to bad theory and answer too...
But in the very first movie of transformers we saw that the were only robots which can shape shift and optimus got his truck body and colour from earth ,then how he was in truck form in Cybertron ????? Pls check first movie and compare it to bumblebee and ruse of beasts
