First of all hats off for taking the plunge!! We use QuickBooks for all our invoicing, accounts and quotes. This means when it comes time to book a job in I can easily create a 10% or 30% invoice for the customer to pay. It’s not unusual for installers to ask for deposit a lot of industry’s do it! Don’t be afraid to make mistakes and good luck!
